These classic red pens are awesome I gave them to my daughter's teacher for school supplies and she enjoys using them I kept some for myself as well and I enjoy using them they are such smooth writing instruments and the color is perfect everything about these pens are perfect I know they're just pens but they're wonderful!

Ordered these because they were on the list of my kids school supplies requirements. I love all papermate products they are good quality and last a while.

I was just looking for some cheap pens so I could keep some with the several notebooks I have strewn around. I was looking for black pens, but red ink shows up just as well on paper, and for a dollar and some change, I can't complain. I've read several reviews on how these pens don't write or how they're running out of ink too quickly. The two pens I've used so far have written just fine, and honestly, for a dollar and so, I don't really care if they do run out quickly. Cheap pens was what I wanted, and cheap pens were exactly what I got. If I find myself in need of a better pen, I'll spend more money on pens.

These pens are great, I use them at work a lot, to the point that I decided to buy a box of blue and red as well. The pens have a very basic plastic body, no frills, they just work as they should. Depending on your writing preference these pens may be a little too "Spartan" especially for those that like cushioned pen grips. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a basic balled point "ink stick."

These pens write smoothly. But the ink is too light in color, which makes it hard to read.But the most annoying aspect involves the cap that you take off the pen when you want to write. As with other stick pens, you put the cap on the end away from the tip. But (unlike other stick pens) the cap doesn't stay there: it slips off when you lay the pen down. And then, if your writing surface isn't perfectly level, the pen rolls and rolls till it falls on the floor. (If the cap had stayed on the pen, it would have prevented the rolling.) Paper Mate could fix this defective design if it cared. Why doesn't it?Amazon: If you want us to rate these pens for "sheerness" and "thickness," you'd better explain what those terms mean.

I guess I got what I paid for. Not ONE of the 12 pens works. Despite "grinding" each pen down for SEVERAL minutes, no ink comes out...of any of them. They are completely dried up. I must be dumb. Complete waste of money--mostly shipping!!!!. I would return but not worth it. DO NOT BUY THESE CHEAP LITTLE PENS.
