Very attractive! New collection favorite!
This watch is extremely attractive and gets an A+ for good looks. It gets another 10 for sensible pricing. This is not a dive watch; it just looks like one. With a face of about 1" diameter, it is suitable for small wrists while packing a terrific visual WOW! However, what you get is different from what is suggested you will get. Having clarified a few points with the manufacturer's representative today, it is important to note this model watch – 8942 – has none of the attributes mentioned in general for GQ models; therefore, it is modestly priced. It is essentially like any other battery-operated analog watch. The bezel that does not move at all on this model; it is fixed permanently in place. It does not wind itself automatically with wrist movements. This model does not have a screw-down stem; it cannot be sealed and will be vulnerable to water which explains those customers who report humidity inside the watch. The narrative advises: "Not doing so will cancel the water resistance of the watch and will void all warranties from the manufacturer." Reading the warranty we see the manufacturer recommends against wearing it in a spa or hot tub. Based on the reviews, loosely accurate detail and an existing watch collection, I purchased the $4.99 extended warranty. The reviews are mixed as to whether the extended warranty will produce results when a claim arises. The manufacturer’s representative advised being careful around water; do not submerge - it is NOT SUITABLE for recreational surfing, swimming, snorkeling, sailing and water sports. It is water resistant to 100', not waterproof. It is "Not suitable for diving" as correctly stated. As many reviews have mentioned, they’ve been under water with this watch and it is ticking just fine. My greatest known risks will be filling dog water bowls, adding water to the golf cart batteries and similar adventures! If I do rescue a drowning person or pet, it will not matter what became of the watch.

Super for an every day watch. Don't go deep-sea diving :)
I LOVE this watch. I had the larger model, but found it was just too big for my wrist so ordered this one. I would prefer if it were in between this size and the larger one, just so there was more "real estate" to see everything more clearly. As a person who could really use reading glasses...but never have them on when I am on the go, I needed a watch I could see lol.... I can see the time on this one just fine. The date, no way. If I were wearing glasses, I could...although as other reviewers have said--it's tiny. The hands glow nicely--although I don't know how long it would last in the dark. I bought the pin removal kit Amazon sells. Not hard to do--although the pins are in good and tight. This feels good on the wrist and the watch is very easy to set since the date and time function are separate. This DOES NOT have a screw-down crown. It is not a diver's watch in the true sense of the word. I would be comfortable taking a shower or washing my hands, but I wouldn't go swimming in it. Might survive just fine--but the crown doesn't feel much tighter than one on a regular watch, so I'd be cautious if you want to use it to go diving. I highly suggest getting one with a screw-down crown if you plan on doing that. As an every-day watch this does the job. It feels solid and the styling is classic without being too loud or too boring. If you are into moving the bezel, it works fine. I have no idea why you'd use it. If you turn it, the 12 is in the wrong spot so if you were in the dark, you wouldn't be able to line up the hands from the 12 since it has a nice bright lume dot on it so it's easy to spot.

Perfect size and looks great!
If you are concerned about this watch being small... read on. Just got this watch and love it so far, and it looks great! As for the watch being small. I was a bit concerned when a few of the reviews described it as "incredibly small" "would not have bought if I knew it would be this small" and worst of all "dainty". Ok, well, I am NOT a dainty person and this concerned me greatly. One reviewer described themselves as a "rough and tough" person. I guess this would describe me. At least I am rough and tough on watches. Therefore, I do not wear dainty things. If I wore anything "dainty", necklace, watch, wristband, ring, it would get destroyed in just one day. Just because I am a physical person, athletic, etc. and I work outdoors at a physical job. Let me put it this way, I have busted both leather and metal watchbands simply by flexing my wrist. Ok. So, I am not the hulk, but I am not petite either. I wear feminine items, just not real frail ones. This watch is slightly smaller than my unisex watch that I wear for work (physical job). It is neither "dainty", nor "incredibly small". It is simply an average size for a women's watch, if not slightly larger than the average women's watch. Smaller or the same size as a unisex watch, about half the size of a men's watch. Like I said, I was really concerned due to the statements in reviews, and now that I've gotten the watch, I am happy to say that it is perfect. Some reviewers have stated that the date is too small and hard to read. The watch face has a magnifier over the date which makes the date perfectly readable. The wrist band with the watch attached fits about a 7.5" wrist, not much larger than that. The links are easily removed for adjusting. If you require more finite adjustments you can move the pins on the clasp up or down the clasp to lengthen or shorten the band.Having said all that, if you like big bulky clunky men's watches with a big giant face on your arm, then you won't like this watch. I will add, that I am not a diver and although I plan on making use of the rotating bezel, I think that if you are in a situation where you would have lots of gear on, in water, etc. that you may find the smaller watch face/bezel difficult to manipulate. If you are in water and or moving around, it may also be difficult to read the dial. So... it may be that divers may find it small. For every day wear or work wear, it's the perfect size.

Elegantly Dainty
Dial is very small and good for small wrists. Not recommended for poor vision. I’ve had it for a couple of days so I am only judging by looks thus far. It looks expensive and resembles a Rolex. We’ll see how long it lasts. I like how it is battery operated. My Casios and Timex watches are strong and sturdy and outdo my high end brands. My first reluctant time purchasing an Invicta.
