Great cold weather protection
These Kalkal steel toe rubber and neoprene boots are very protective for working in cold wet weather.Pluses:Steel toes, obviously. But these have a wide toe box so toes have plenty of room for comfort.Neoprene uppers have snug fit at calf so snow isn't likely to get in. And the uppers are very flexible.Kick tab at back of boots for easy removal.Pull tab at top for easy donning.Thick rubber foot portion seems like it will hold up well in heavy use.Non-slip tread.2 pairs of insoles - one already in the boots and a thinner pair in the box.Minus:The ankle area is a little too wide compared to the rest of the boot. Why would I need steel toe winter boots, you ask, if my job doesn't require it? The answer is that they save a lot of sore feet from dropping firewood, stubbing toes in icy weather, all that stuff. And these are as comfortable as non-steel-toe neoprene boots the famous brands, plus they're a little higher shafts. Highly recommended.

Fantastic boots
These rubber work boots are pretty phenomenal. They fit comfortably with plenty of room without being too big. They are sturdy and the rubber material that was used to make them are fantastic and do a great job of keeping any water or mud out. I love the steel toe as I do a lot of work where I could potentially injure my toes so that added protection is a great benefit. Definitely would recommend to anyone who has to work in muddy conditions!

Cushion
I had previously gotta this brand in the rubber ankle boot. Those were so good that I went for these knee-highs. They are fantastic. The interior lining is very soft. The steel-toe is handy. The kick off notch at each back ankle is a lifesaver. Highly recommend.

Very well made…
….but a bit heavy. Not only heavy, but also clunky, you are going to be stomping around like Frankenstein, trust me.Oddly enough, the size 12 fits my foot perfectly, but the very top of the boot narrows down ever so slightly and is tight around my calf. I’m concerned that might rub and begin to irritate my skin unless I am wearing long socks. Forget about tucking my pants into the boots, it is far too constricted there to do so.I have a pair of Bog boots that are far and away more comfortable, but lack the steel toe. Depending on your job requirements, you might consider another boot, but these are indeed built well.

HEAVY Duty!
Very heavy duty boots. The neoprene like material is great up the ankle and leg.The boot itself is very heavy, weight wise, and the fit is slightly poor at my true size ordered so they feel a little but clunky. Still worth having for short trips in bad condition but I wish the fit was a little better.Definitely seems water proof though, no worries there.
