I like to have a sauna at home. This chair is waterproof and foldable, which is very suitable for home use.

Initial impression is that the stool is sturdy, however, I've noticed that the edges of the wood are sharp & there are a few small chips. I like how flat it folds up for storage.

This chair is excellent quality. It is well made. It easily folds so you can store it. It is a nice sauna and shower bench. It's sturdy and can accommodate large people.

This is a beautiful, easy to fold and unfold bench for the shower (or a million other purposes I imagine). For me, this solved a problem I've had since I sold my house to move into my partner's. He'd had the one full bathroom in his house remodeled when he moved in and clearly consulted no women in the shower portion. The shower is tall, but small, with a rainflow shower head. I bought a shower cap early on to allow myself showers that didn't require getting my hair wet. But, there truly was no place to prop a foot to shave one's legs where the water wouldn't immediately rinse off any soap or shaving cream, a problem shower caps wouldn't solve. I went from being a woman that shaves EVERY shower to rarely doing so because it was such a challenge. I tried sticking my leg out the side of the curtain to prop it on the nearby clawfoot tub. That seemed to work okay until I almost slipped doing that, narrowly avoiding cutting myself badly and doing a split. It's been more than a year and it's been driving me nuts. Cue this little bench. It's a perfect height, giving me a spot at the corner of the shower that's just slightly out of the water enough to let me shave properly. It isn't a particularly slick surface when wet, so I don't think I'll slip. I don't leave it in the shower once I'm done, folding it up to dry out of the way, so I don't expect I'll have any mold issues. But, it's wood....so your mileage may vary if you intend to leave it in the shower 24/7. The wood really is beautiful and it seems well built. My only complaint, if I had to give one, was the packaging from Amazon. The bench itself fits in a pretty thin, slightly long box. Then amazon put it in a huge box with a bunch of craft paper. Unnecessarily oversized packaging that didn't seen to do much to keep the item secure from moving around. But it was in perfect condition so...not much of a complaint. For our tiny shower I do wish they offered this in a smaller size too, since I'm propping a foot on it, not sitting, but it's relatively small enough to fit with me in the space so I'll live. If you need a little bench for your shower or sauna, for shaving, for sitting by your front door to put on shoes, for plant storage, as quick additional seating, etc, this is a great buy.

This stool caught my attention, but more so as a table (I'm not a fan of using wood in a wet conditions).It's a clever design, sturdy, and is working well as a small table for me.

Sturdy bench that folds flat for storage. I haven't used it inside the shower and I don't think I will as it doesn't seem to have that kind of finish, but it is extremely sturdy. I love being able to put it away when I don't need it too.

This is a nice wood chair that has a lot of pinch points. I was going to use it in my portable sauna but decided this is better as a side table so it's outside next to my adirondack chair

I have a solid teak wood bench that I'm replacing. I thought this would be the solution for me.HOWEVER, There are several reasons I will not be using it in the shower.- Too many crevasses. There are way too many areas for water to linger and mold up.- I do not feel comfortable sitting on it. This is not a bench that a grown man should be sitting on.The quality is there, don't get me wrong. I'm sure for the right use case this is the perfect stool. For me, however, it will not be replacing my other stool/bench.*4 stars for quality. Minus 1 star for the listing recommending it to be used in a shower. I think it will get moldy quickly.
