Just arrived looks just like the picture can't wait to make the Dubai chocolate bar!

I recently ordered the Hakan Kataifi Shredded Phyllo Dough,. I have never used a shredded phyllo dough but I saw some recipes online and was eager to try. This is actually a very versatile ingredient and may delicious desserts can be make from this such as: Dubai Chocolate, Knafeh. other Middle Eastern and Mediterranean Pastries. I was concerned that the package would get damaged in shipping. I was happy to find that the package was well protected, and the dough was in perfect condition. In terms of the quality it is high-quality, fresh dough and my desserts came out nice. Just keep in mind that if you do not use the full package make sure to refrigerate it. I found it the hard way!

I liked this dough but it was just too fine. Shredfing it a little coarser wouldve been the best. Otherwise its good and tastes amazing when toasted before using

I used this as a topping on some hazelnut cookies that I covered with chocolate and they came out amazing. I fried the dough in butter for a couple of minutes before adding it to the unbaked cookies, popped them in the over and once cooled added some melted milk chocolate and YUM! It added a crunchy, sweet, buttery flavor to them that was amazing. I will definitely use this for other baked goods and I plan on using it as a topping to an apple pie.
