I had originally used a silicon travel set for bringing fish sauce on cruises. I'm asian, and cruises have congee for breakfast, and I asked the staff if there was any fish sauce, and they acted like they didn't know. Come on now, bunch of Filipinos on a boat. There was definitely fish sauce and they weren't going to give it to me. So now I bring my own.The bottles are nice and tight, especially with the rubber shaker/stopper thing that goes under the cap. Since funnels are provided, I didn't have to buy additionals, and it worked well for the leftover hotsauce mix (not sure how that's going to taste since it was just random, almost empty hot sauce bottles all thrown into a micro bottle). The size is perfect for a sandwich bag - though I did find a sandwich tupperware box that fit. With the fish sauce, I do plan to double up, but it didn't even need padding.I haven't tested in travel yet, but the glass is pretty thick.If you're wondering about what the size looks like, they are pretty much the mini alcohol bottles you see in hotel mini bars, sans alcohol of course.

When I find a new whiskey I enjoy, I always like to share samples with friends who I think will also appreciate it. Or, if it's one I don't care for, I'll share samples with people I think might like it enough to swap me for something I do like!I've been using a variety of 1.5 oz plastic and glass bottles for this for some time and, while these are among the higher priced of the options I've used, they have several significant advantages.Firstly, leaking has often been an issue with the small glass bottles and these solve that problem by providing a plastic stopper that goes under the metal cap. The square profile also makes for more secure transport.Clearly labeling the contents is also much easier due to the bottle's flat sides. Grease pencil or laundry markers work perfectly to write directly on the side.Finally, I really prefer the glass bottles - previous leak issues notwithstanding - since they can be washed and reused. The plastic ones I've used can take a funk if used too often.As an added bonus they come with several funnels. Finding a funnel that is small enough to fit in a bottle this size with a large enough mouth to pour into without spilling can be a challenge.

These bottles seal nicely with the included inner stoppers and each box of 6 includes 2 funnels - which is very handy.I like to include dressings separately in my lunches and with these I won’t have to worry about leaks.You’d need a pretty small bottle cleaner to scrub these out - be aware thicker sauces or dressings may be an issue if you plan to reuse these.However because they are nice thick glass and seal well they’d BT great to gift homemade items.
