Great 3rd Season
This is a great show to watch. It's amazing that it picks up from where the Book of Boba Fett Season 1 left off. I like the episodes of The Mandalorian Season 3.

Enjoyable
Not to everyone’s taste but I’ve been enjoying the Mando series. There’s a lot of people who are critical of the Disney franchise of the Star Wars Universe but I enjoy watching them so I guess it’s each to there own!

Not as good as the other seasons of the Mandalorian,
This series follows on from the other two seasons of the Mandalorian. It is still a pretty good season of the TV show it follows this main character who protects a Yoda type character it still features a lot of star wars style action and still is better than the star wars sequel films they made. It does feature some good and ok episodes in it.

How Could Jon Favreau Dropped The Ball On This?
When the third season of THE MANDALORIAN (2019-????) came on Disney+ a couple of years ago, it failed to ignite the same impact as the first two seasons. Reviews were 'meh' at best, and viewing figures dropped heavily as the third season lumbered towards it's finale. Sadly, the brickbats it received are deserving, and here's my four biggest issues on why this was such a misfire.1. The pacing is unfocused and meandering. The first season had Mando (Pedro Pascal) discovering a 'Baby Yoda' (Grogu) and going on the run from those who want it for the remnants of the Empire, five years after the events of RETURN OF THE JEDI (1983). The second season focused on Mando searching for other Mandalorians, who can guide him to take Grogu to the Jedi. The third season should have been about Mando going on a journey to redeem himself while questioning his own Mandalore ideology and code, as the conflict of the Mandalorians drew closer. But Mando has his journey done in the first two episodes of this, and the season drags from one uninteresting event to another.2. Four-fifths of 'The Convert' (the third episode, and the longest episode of THE MANDALORIAN overall) was devoted entirely to Dr. Pershing (Omid Abtahi) and Elia Kane (Katy M. O'Brian), which is completely irrelevant to the third season. Other than a mention in the second-to-last episode of the season ('The Spies'), it's never brought up again. If the rumours turned out to be true that this was supposed to have taken place in the cancelled RANGERS OF THE NEW REPUBLIC spin-off show, then what was the point putting this in THE MANDALORIAN?3. Lizzo and Jack Black guest appearing in 'Guns For Hire' is one of the worst things to ever happen in the entire history of STAR WARS. It as awful as the Dexter Diner scene in ATTACK OF THE CLONES (2002) and the Canto Bight subplot in THE LAST JEDI (2017). Jack Black hasn't done anything great for over a decade, becoming a very one-note actor and doesn't belong in STAR WARS, while Lizzo's performance is absolutely loathsome that it makes the acting in the notorious STAR WARS HOLIDAY SPECIAL (1978) look like Emmy award-winning performances.4. Even though it took place in THE BOOK OF BOBA FETT (2021-22), having Mando and Grogu back together diminished any enthusiasm that the third season could have presented. By reuniting them this quickly, they've ruined the emotional impact of the Season Two finale ('The Rescue'). The first two seasons feel entirely meaningless now. Grogu was a living MacGuffin in those two seasons. But here, he just does cute and funny stuff. I do not believe Jon Favreau's statement one bit on why he thought it was necessary to have Mando and Grogu back this quickly. His response of "We just could not hit a hard reset" is so weak, and it's obvious that he was force to reunite them by Lucasfilm and Disney so that they can continue selling MANDALORIAN merchandising around 'Baby Yoda'.Mando and Grogu will return, not for a fourth season, but for the theatrical outing THE MANDALORIAN & GROGU (ETA 2026). I will only go and see the film, IF, it does these important tasks: 1. Bring it back to the spirit of the first two seasons; 2. No interconnecting to the other live-action STAR WARS TV shows set after the Original Trilogy (1977-1983); 3. Grogu has some importance to the plot and isn't there to make audiences laugh or go 'Awww'; 4. No more cringeworthy celebrity cameos on the scale of Lizzo and Jack Black. Even if the upcoming film wins back the crowd, I doubt it will go down as the best of the STAR WARS franchise.Overall, the third season of THE MANDALORIAN is another nail in the coffin for the Disney-era STAR WARS.Reviewer: Ben David W
