Paracord PlanetRainbow Dip-Dye 550 Paracord - 7 Strand - 100 Feet

I recently purchased this "Rainbow " 550 Paracord and got not one color but, it's like buying Five colors in one I've had so many compliments on it already and a few requests as well.I will be getting more of this color It's a good value for the money...

I love Paracord Planet's paracord. It's great quality, they don't splice their 100ft hanks (not in the probably 30 I've used so far anyway), it never bleeds, and comes in hundreds of beautiful colors and patterns. I usually order it direct from their website, but had an Amazon credit so ordered a 100ft hank of this rainbow dye cord from seller "Built For Survival".What I got from them is NOT Paracord Planet paracord, it's some cheap, spliced, defect-filled knockoff in a Paracord Planet package. The color is completely off, almost pastel, not the deep neon dye I'm used to. It's lighter weight. It had multiple defects starting at ~20ft in where you could see one to three of the core strands cut/broken and sticking outside the casing. And it had a splice around 38ft in. This stuff is more like the knockoff "Toasis" brand that I tried one time when PP rainbow was out of stock.Buy from Paracord Planet directly, or seller Outdoor Bunker here on Amazon. They share the same parent company as Paracord Planet or maybe they're a DBA, either way they have the same phone number and mailing address and I'm hoping this time I get the real Paracord Planet cord I'm used to using.Edited to add some pictures of the defects, splice, and comparison with the expected deep/dark neon color. The color is really difficult to photograph and see the difference so I tried with and without the flash. The hanks that are knotted in the middle are the leftover pieces from the last good batch of rainbow dye I used. In person there's a HUGE difference in the color, to the point that I can't use them together.

Great quality for paracord bracelets

I love the colors, which is why I bought this in the first place. One con to this is, it does catch fire easily if you’re not paying attention. Also, not very good quality paracord for anything more than bracelets, keychains, that sort of stuff.One thing they need to change, is how long each color pattern is. They are almost a foot in each, and when you’re making a bracelet or a keychain, you never even get to but one or two colors. They should make it where it goes every 4 inches, that way you actually get the tie-dye look.

I like the color and the value for the money

We got this to tie a unicorn floatie to shore to play with in a lake. It was perfect for that purpose- I could not be more pleased with this product!The cord floats on water, is highly visible, durable, and was a perfect match to my rainbow unicorn pool float. I'm so glad I ordered this instead of just buying the mud-green color available in-store which would have gotten lost in the lake! Having something cool and colorful just makes everything more fun! The friends I camped with all complimented it as well!I had no issues with color bleeding even when using this in water for an extended period of time. It was durable, easy to tie and untie and untangle as well. I would recommend this cord to anyone who thinks they might need a rainbow paracord!

I haven't used it in crafts yet nor pre-washed so I'll update on that later. This bright-multi-colored paracord was more expensive then other colors, so I had my doubts in making the purchase. It was worth it!. The colors are so vivid and beautiful - I know I can use it in the home and for different types of crafts.

I use paracord to make leads for dogs. I generally make beaded show leads, but occasionally as in this case, make a fun walking lead. This was a fun project and very popular with my dog show crowd. This cord was easy to work with as I need to fuse an end to the body of the leash to attach the snap on the lead. The colors are vibrant and the feel of the cord gives you confidence for the strength of the cord and in my case, the lead.
