It’s awesome!
Easy to assemble and use, good durability even in rocky ground, digs fast and saves your back. I’ve been very happy so far (about 30 hours of use).

How to Auger a relatively large hole with your a relatively small Earthquake power unit
It all depends on the type of ground you're planning to put a post hole in. It is necessary to use one of the ordinary scissor style post hole diggers to clean the bottom of the hole out - but that is just the nature of this particular beast.Hitting either a rock or a piece of concrete in soil you expect to be entirely soil is not pleasant. I picked up a nice bruise on my stomach where it hit me during my last fencing project. Honestly this is really either a young man's tool or a two-man tool.Bottom line: the Ardisam line of tools work very well.

Fast and so easy to work with.
Bought this with the electric post hole digger to plant plants in 10 inch pots. Together, they weighed almost 50 pounds. I am a 77 year old housewife and did most of the digging by myself. Especially liked the solid, one piece, of the "screw", as I hit cable tv wires without cutting them. The only problem, here, was that there was no reverse on the post hole digger, so had to crawl down to extricate the blade...cable intact. An impressive piece of machinery to work, but so much fun! Sore back afterwards, but nothing that 4 ibuprofen and 2 moonshines wouldn't fix. Now, to lookfor more projects!

WOW CUT right into the ground that my 8" auger was having trouble with
Cut five 3 foot holes with little effort on my part. I lot less work then the 8"auger. I have alot of rocks in the soil. The ten inch auger seems to clear the rocks better then the 8" auger.
