Very accurate thermometer with digital display. Can be selected in baby, toddler and kids mode and display the temp and red and green light. It also comes additional protectors and replacements. Very easy to use and great value of money.

This is a very quick reading thermometer and the set up is easy. All you need to do is insert the batteries, which are included, and you’re good to go. You can set the time, which is only useful if you’re comparing to previous readings as it stores the last thirty.There are twenty disposable caps to go on the probe to keep it hygienic and these are in a separate box with a cap to keep them safe. There is also one provided with the probe under the safety cap.There are three modes for different ages - under three months, three months to thirty six months and thirty six months plus and this needs to be done before you take your temperature. Having said that, once I’d set this to the oldest setting, each time I used it, it kept that setting.The thermometer has a traffic light system for normal, slightly raised and problematic temperatures, which is a fast indication of an emergency. Having the correct age set, means it gives the accurate colour.When you put the disposable cap on, you just need to press it down firmly to secure it in place. I pressed the top ‘cap release’ button by mistake and this shoots the cap off! You can change between Celsius or Fahrenheit by using the toggle switch in the battery compartment.Overall, I think this is a really neat, accurate thermometer and I'm happy to recommend.

I personally have a thermometer near me, more so over the last few years (they were all the rage in 2020) but having one that's easy to see if it's good, meh or uh oh easily is handy indeed - more so when people aren't always clued in on the ranges. It has settings as well for youngsters should you have any - I don't but handy to set for age bands if you need it.It's simple enough - 2 AA batteries powers it (supplied) and there's a little switch in the battery compartment to change from Fahrenheit to Centigrade. Setting the time is a bit clunky but not the most essential thing to do - as long as it measures your temperature, that's kinda the main thing. It has 20 (+1) covers which are little plastic caps to keep the device clean and hygienic. They're not an amazing fit and can easily ping across the room but they serve the purpose fine.Taking your temperature was pretty speedy and as you can see - the green indicates its in a normal range and you have the precise number as well (although seeing green is enough to make you feel comfy). It also would/should show amber or red if not good, but I can't test that as such :)It does what one expects it to but as said, the covers aren't the best to me but functional.

We've had the same electric thermometer for many years and I had been starting to question its accuracy after so long, so I was glad to be able to get this one.This thermometer is well made with several useful functions and an easy way of reading the result. The thermometer needs 2 x AA batteries, (which are included), and there are 21 hygienic ear caps, (a box of 20 and 1 already on the thermometer). There's also a protective cover for the probe.It's simple to use by pressing the "thermometer" button and then select an age range before reading the temperature. There's 3 age ranges to choose from, which is especially useful for families with very young children. The first two ranges are for newborns and then slightly older babies and the third range is for 36 months to adult.(It's important to select the right range as safe temperature differs for the very young.)Once the range is selected, put the probe in the ear and press the "thermometer" button again and within seconds it will read the result which shows on the clear LED screen.I really like how the screen illuminates with a traffic light system, (red, orange, green), for temperature results, plus a fever alert.Another great feature is there's a mute button, (especially useful when trying to take a youngster's temperature whilst they're sleeping). The memory function and recall is useful too.One feature I especially like is the button which pops off the used ear cap.From what I've tried so far, this thermometer is accurate and that it allows for ambient temperature is great because I found that has affected readings in the past. The storage bag is handy as well becuase as a habit from when the kids were young, I always take a thermometer with us when we go away.The only thing I've found is that I can't get the protective probe cover back on whilst the cap is in place, which I think must be down to me being as it came with both the cap and cover on, so I need to fiddle with that and work out what I'm doing wrong.Fast, accurate and good functionality on this, so I'm very happy with it.

Great value and Great quality for the price.

This is a vine review meaning the product was provided to be reviewed.This product is 10 packages of 20 disposable lenses for Braun ear thermometers, a total of 200 lenses. See attached photo of large box containing 10 boxes of 20 lenses.I tested these lenses side-by-side with a new package of 20 lenses made by Braun.To open either brand of lenses, the end flap of the package is pulled up and then down the length of the back of the package to open a window to enable easy loading of a new lens onto the Braun thermometer.The Braun brand package opened easily in a single movement, leaving a clear window with no paper remnants.The package of this product was a pain to open. While the end flap lifted up easily, when pulling it down the side of the container, it quickly tore off because the perforations were poorly done, leaving no window at all. I then had to try to pull off pieces of packaging where the top layer of packaging ripped off without removing the bottom layer of packaging. See attached photo of this product on the left with paper remnants, and the Braun brand on the right with a single strip that was removed in one motion. I deducted one star for the poor packaging on this product. With modern packaging equipment, there is no excuse for poor perforations on product packaging.I continued the testing by putting lens container of this product into the Braun thermometer case. It fit poorly with the walls of the container buckling. See attached photo of this product in the Braun thermometer case.The Braun brand container fit perfectly. See attached photo.Packaging issues aside, I then tested the function of this product and Braun brand lenses side-by-side using a Braun ear thermometer. Both lenses gave varying but similar readings on the Braun ear thermometer.In summary, in a household environment the use of lenses is typically low which tends to negate the price advantage of this product, and given the packaging issues with this product I am reluctant to recommend it over Braun brand lenses.In a nonprofit clinical environment, where volunteers are available to struggle with the packaging, and the use rate of lenses is high, this product could offer economic advantages.

Zuerst probierten wir ein Stirnthermometer aus was aber sehr ungenau war. Es hatte uns 37 Grad anzeigte, obwohl unser Kind tatsächlich knapp 40 Grad Fieber hatte. Unser Kinderarzt erklärte, dass Stirnthermometer generell ungenau seien und wir dieses doch bitte entsorgen sollten. Stattdessen empfahl er die rektale oder die Ohrmessung. So kamen wir zu diesem Ohrthermometer, das ziemlich genau ist, mit nur leichten Abweichungen innerhalb des Toleranzbereichs aufweist.Das Ohrthermometer wird sicher verpackt geliefert, mit dem benötigten Zubehör und einer ausführlichen mehrsprachigen Anleitung, auch auf Deutsch.Die Verarbeitung ist insgesamt in Ordnung. Nach dem Anbringen einer Kappe, dem Einschalten und Starten, liefert das Gerät das Messergebnis in weniger als einer Sekunde, gut lesbar auf dem großen Display.Bis jetzt sind wir zufrieden mit dem Thermometer. Allerdings sollte man bedenken, dass dieses Thermometer Folgekosten verursacht, da die Kappen nur einmal verwendet werden sollten.
