Wasted my money
Don't buy this. It's crap. It's garbage. No on off switch. Lights won't turn on when you twist to turn it on. The negative rod doesn't touch the round plate.

potentially useful, but... functionality and quality issue
This is an LED device that starts flashing in low light.There is no way to turn it on or off except by exposing it to darkness or light.So it cannot be stored in the dark unless one wants the batteries to be drained. I suppose one could loosen the diffuser enough to stop.Unclear how long the LEDs would flash.The material is very cheap plastic that will break easily. Equally doubtful that this has any UV resistance.Also shipping takes 6 weeks..cheap enough to test it though if you have the patience

Junk, No way to turn on/off. It goes on when dark and flashes red, nothing else

Misleading and dishonest ad. Not USCG approved. Not a flare. It is a cheap flashing light. Turns out the light is not white, like an electronic flare would be, but the color of the handle. Not SOS pattern
