Not useable without modification
Straps will not fit any human's arm. These are shin guards. You will have to modify the straps on your own (sewing). Way overpriced for what it is. Blade battery pack and switch just fall off. Some lights don't work. Red tube lights too dim. Was and nice idea with poor execution. I am sure the seller will just remove this item and rename it and sell it again to avoid the truth.

Beautiful prop for display, not as costume accessory.
I'm torn.On the one hand, I have to applaud the artists responsible for putting this item together. The moving lights are next level and this screams cyberpunk. That said, this is not great as a costume accessory. I feel like taking this outside to a Halloween party or trick or treating would be a disaster waiting to happen. It's far too flimsy and the electrical parts are exposed. While cleaver design, I doubt it would survive a light drizzle. This also has the con of requiring two specialized batteries. One is rechargeable and comes with the charger, but I've never seen the one that you need to insert into the sword. I'm sure you could order them on Amazon (I didn't check) but it just seems like a double AA would have been more convenient. Not pictured are the two switches that dangle away from the costume. While they both do come with clips in the back, this thing is already bulky. The Velcro straps are also too long. It seems like it might have been for legs, dunno. I would need to wrap it around the prop to maybe get it to stick. Finally, a minor quibble, its a little hard to put on. I couldn't really wear this correctly to even photography myself with it on.I'm disappointed. At this price point, there should be no excuses for these flaws. I picked mine up on sale, but it probably would have been a better priced at $30-$40. I sooo wanted to fall in love; it is a thing of beauty, but I'm returning this and picking up a cybersword at a more reasonable price point. I gave it a 2nd stars just because of how impressive it looks but it really is giving mercy to a 1 star product.

Very cool some room for improvement
Very cool creative design. I did sure up some of the attached pieces that might version came loose when shipping. I just used gorilla tape.It was only the battery holder and switch on the blade and the switch on the arm guard that came loose.Currently trying to think of a way to shorten the strap near the wrist area. It's quite a bit too long. My only thought is to measure and cut and stitch the strap to the clip. The middle strap is also a little long but not much works for me but I could see someone with a smaller forearm needing to adjust that bit. Unfortunately I think the straps will be something the customer will have to adjust. I don't really know of a good one size fits all design that would be affordable.Great work overall

Low quality and poor workmanship.
This thing is absolute garbage. If I had known I was ordering some highschool kid's extra credit art project(for which they absolutely got an F) I would have made a better choice. First of all it is just a bunch of crap glued onto a shin guard, probably for hockey or or something. Second, the glue they used didn't hold and I had to attempt to glue everything back together. Third it is a just a bad attempt at whatever they were trying to achieve and if I had taken a little more time and analyzed the images I probably could have saved myself some headache. Complete trash.
