Very happy
Definitely recommend this company. This knife was good quality and cut food well but it developed a crack on metal part within 4 weeks so I contacted company. They apologised, were really friendly and sent out a new knife which is even better quality and REALLY sharp. It cuts through food really easily. Very happy. Thank you so much. Great service from the provider of this knife.I'll definitely use them again when needed.

One of the Best Knives I've Used
As someone who likes to cook, having the right knife for the job is always a key consideration, there's nothing worse than trying to fine slice vegetables with a knife that's too blunt or too large, for example, hence when I saw this 7 inch Santoku Knife I was keen to try it out.First impressions are good, the knife comes in a fairly simply box package, and includes a plastic safety sheaf. The knife itself is very nice, however, the handle is ergonomic and comfortable to hold, and the weight balance is near perfect. Lots of times you pick up a knife, and you can feel the blade weighing down, but here it feels neutral as they have done such a good job with counter weighting.Blade sharpness is excellent too, it has been sharpened to near perfection from tip to base, and It's able to make very fine shaving cuts with ease. Whilst the grade of steel used in not listed, from the look and feel it is a hard grade carbon steel, that should be hard wearing, hard to chip, and relatively easy to sharpen again if you have a couple of stones to hand.Usually I would cut veg with a 3 in pairing knife, but since having this I've been quite happy using it instead, as it's such a good versatile knife to work with.Overall for £17 currently, I have to say I think this knife is underpriced for the quality, I would expect to pay anywhere from 35-50 for a knife of this standard and sharpness, so it's one of those rare find that you actually get more than what you pay for. Get it before it goes.

A great gift for any chef or budding chef.
Beautifully presented in a nice made to measure box.The knife on arrival has just a simple plastic tip guard, but the box contains a full plastic sleeve for the blade that you can use to protect it.It's a full tang knife with a 17cm long blade. The handle is plastic but very good quality - two pieces sandwiching the metal and rivetted in place. The construction is top notch. The knife is perfectly balanced and a joy to use. Very sharp obviously although I can't comment on how long this will last yet, but it feels like it will last a while if looked after.A great gift for any chef or budding chef.
