Good value table top fireplace
Nice product. Good table top size. Has glass panels for all four sides, whereas others only have two. Comes with replacement ceramic wool sponges and the fork utensils are extendable.

Decorative table feature
We had one of these bio-ethanol burners a while ago and we really enjoyed using it. I would say that they are mainly decorative in purpose but they do give off a bit of heat - probably equivalent to burning a couple of those large candles in jars that you can buy. This updated burner has more glass panels than the previous one that we had so the flame is better protected from draughts and also there is less chance of anything accidentally coming into contact with the flame. The quality of build is good, the burner looks good as a table decoration but don’t expect it to heat your room. One last thing, the major DIY stores where we used to buy our bio-ethanol fuel no longer stock it.

Flame doesn't last as long as stated.
Used the correct fuel yet the flame doesn't last as long as stated. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong or its faulty. Worthy of some stars because it looks great when it's up and running.

Easy to assemble
Listen Avengers, as the title suggests this thing is incredibly easy to put together. The flame dances like a ballerina and gets the job done. Looks beautiful on a dining room table or end table and gives that nice orange light when the lights are low. Super light weight and even with the added alcohol to start the fire it doesn’t have a smell. We already love it and the kids are asking for more marshmallows.

Great gift
Relaxing and beautiful for a night in. I like this tabletop firepit for the fact that I can buy a bottle isopropyl alcohol for fuel. Once it's lit there is no burning smell that i have noticed. I used 70percent alcohol so it would burn longer and wouldn't leave residue in the pit.

Nice effect, probably better suited to outdoors
This fire creates a nice effect and gives off reasonable heat, but I think it's likely better suited to outdoors than inside.I used bio-ethanol from Amazon with this table top fire. This didn't product any noticeable smoke or order (and didn't set off smoke or carbon monoxide alarms). I know there is some debate about whether the theory of bioethanol emissions matches the reality, but that's a different discussion. It's basically a metal tub with a stand, and glass for safety/wind protection. I like the effect the fire created. It certainly gave off some heat, although mostly upwards and I think this is more of a decorative item than one for keeping warm with.I wish there was more control over the flame - a sliding grate or similar, as I found the flames to get pretty high at times, and I'd prefer a slower burn so that the effect lasts longer. While it didn't get particularly hot underneath, I admit I felt a little bit nervous with an open flame of this sort sitting on my dining table, so I think it's better suited to outdoors than in.Overall, the item does what it says, burns for about the time specified. Personally, I think I'll stick to using it outdoors.
