We use these headsets extensively in our productions, including weddings, corporate shoots, and even while flying my drone to communicate with my assistant who spots for me. The range is significantly better than the other brand we typically use. One feature I particularly appreciate is the ability to use the headset as regular headphones to monitor audio from my camera or live switcher. While there is a slight delay, it’s still manageable. Here is a quick review of the new Synco Xtalk Xpro X2 headsets.Power - wedding was 12 hours long, second shooter was with me for 7 of those hours. We used the headsets during the entire 7 hours with no power concerns at all.Delay - there is a delay but it's minimal, less than a second and not really an issue. I'm sure it might improve over time with firmwareNoise canceling - very good, we could here each other better and more clear speaking through the headset then speaking directly side by side when it was really loud. The trick here tho is making sure the mic is directly infront of your mouth, if its too far away it can garble a little bitBuild quality - to be determined, I'm not sure i would feel comfortable just throwing it in a pocket of my gear bag and not having it break. Part of this is due to design, they should make the mic detachable and the ear and head piece able to articulate to lay flat. If they did this it could be better "cramed" in an already full gear bag without as much risk of damage.Connectivity - no issues at all, paired within a second and stayed connected the entire wedding. Even if i was outside on the lower floor on the patio and my 2nd was on the 2nd floor, on the other side of the building we could still talk without dropoutComfort - take time to adjust it properly for your head and it becomes very comfortable, no fatigue after 7 hours. Also it is fairly lightDesign - here is were i think the designers need to improve. The rigid portion of the mic arm does not extend past the two antennas which means ever single time you raise the mic it hits the antennas, causing you to readjust the mic just to mute it and then readjust the mic to speak again. It hits the antenna at eye level so you cant just leave it there. The non rigid mic arm is too flexible and too long and should be a bit more rigid. Or they should have put the antennas on the other side. I contacted synco about this, as the headset does not match the picture. This is almost a deal breaker as in a wedding your constantly muting and un muting all day long.

The media could not be loaded. These Syncos have become a staple in my assistant camera bag. Once you use them, it is a night and day difference from using walkies. Voices sound super clear, almost as if they are talking right next to you. There is no going back.Works right out of the box, no need to pair manually, and the battery lasts the whole day. The batteries also charge pretty quickly in case you forgot to charge them the night before. Another thing I really liked was that you can change the earpiece. I have a bigger head, so the over-ear earpiece would not fit me very well. Thankfully it comes with an on-ear earpiece, which is super comfortable and fit my head no problem. Easy to swap and clean.I tested the distance, and I could talk to someone inside a building, from the street outside, a whole BLOCK AWAY from them. No interference, and clear as day!It also comes with really cool features like being able to mute other people's mics in case it gets too chaotic haha. 5 stars, I really can't work without my pair of Syncos. Highly recommend!
