... had these boots for 4 months so I feel like I can leave an honest and informed review
I have had these boots for 4 months so I feel like I can leave an honest and informed review. They are the most comfortable pair of boots I have ever owned. Throughout my life I have always struggled with my instep, forever pulling the muscles because of a lack of support and I also get attacks of Raynauds syndrome (extreme loss of blood flow in my toes / feet) Not in these! They are supportive, warm and durable in all the weather conditions I have encountered so far. Out of the box I treated them with a waterproofing spray but nothing else because I didn't want to lose the rustic look of the leather. They are now well worn in. It did take a while for the leather to soften and mould to my feet, and the elastic section was rubbing my ankles slightly at first but now it's like walking on clouds. They are very lightweight even with the thick sole; which absorbs shock very well. 4 months down the line and I have just waxed my boots with Mink oil for the first time. PLEASE NOTE; doing this will DARKEN the leather indefinitely, as it says on the Blundstone website. But my boots are starting to get a little scuffed and scratched, so it's time for some extra protection. The boots still have a rustic look, they are just much darker now, but I still love them to pieces and I can say for sure that I will be purchasing them again in the future. I have had so many compliments on them too. Overall one of the best purchases I've probably ever made!

Best boots ever
I used to wear these when I lived in Australia, the most comfortable boots I have ever worn, work or play these are your boots, stylish enough to go out in and tough as nails for work. Sealed like wellingtons for water proofing, if you have wide feet like me, go the half size up, still the same size but wider.

Lightweight & sturdily built
Fab boots.I ordered my usual sizing but went for the wide so I had room for thick socks if necessary. (I could have gone up a size & would still have fit).Don't be daunted by trying to get them on for the first time. They are stiff but WILL soften. & it won't always involve so much swearing.I read the reviews first (this was my first purchase). After my first attempt failed on one foot, I stuck a chubby jar of mayonnaise in the neck of these boots for a couple of hours- it still took a bit of yoga to get the boot on. But once on, instantly comfortable to walk in & I didn't have to sleep in them, they slid off easily. How on earth someone got 2 tins of tomatoes in them unless they were a size 12+ or poured them in is anyone's guess...Moral of the story, they are worth it & I will be buying more.

Like them a lot
I bought a pair of these after a friend who has a pair showed me his while discussing Plantar fasciitis telling me that they make the condition bearable. The first thing I noticed when he offered boot up was how light they are.I took the plunge and bought a pair slightly dubious of the sizing due to previous reviews. I normally take a size 10 but ordered a size 9, this turned out to be a good move because even the 9 was ever so slightly large, but with a cushioned insole added and thick socks they have proved to be very comfortable, I also have wide feet and they are not squeezed at all.I've now had these boots for two months and have used them on a daily basis from walking the dog, to walking across London, long train rides, car drives and all day at work across all kinds of terrain and I love them. They don't cure Plantar fasciitis but they do make the condition bearable even wearing these boots all long, they also add a sense of security to your feet because they are sturdy, entering the gents toilet on a Friday night or walking in the rain hold no fear anymore unlike the sketchers I used to wear.My only grip would be the getting in and out of them which can be a bit of a pain unlit you master the technique of getting a finger through the looped tag in order to pull the them, eventually now after two months they come off easily. They are not cheap but they are well worth the money and I am very glad to have them as my everyday footware

Tight over top instep/arch
I very light shoe with good width around the toes & length pretty much true. I'm usually a size 3 G/F width in Clarks. Good leather & like the shape of the toe. Main issue was I have a high instep and they were too tight on the top of my foot especially due to v inset of leather. Dug into my foot making them uncomfortable despite wearing decent socks. Given the leather is quite stiff it meant the small inset rubbed even more on my footQuality is good overall although the soles looked a bit cheap - but at the end of the day you're paying for the name.

These boots are soooooo comfy!
Wanted a good pair of workboots that look smart but are practical. These fit the bill! A great colour , good tread on the sole and a nice looking boot. A little stiff to get my foot in first time but no problem since. And they are soooo comfy! I have been wearing them all day with no issues . They also came with a set of insoles to ensure a good fit for all. Great boots true to size and Highly recommended!
