I looked at the name brand lights and also these. I wanted lights that come with a mountable sensor and these have one. The sensor feels quite solid and has a bit of weight, which is good because it doesn't move or slip on top of your TV. It also picks up color changes on your screen accurately but best of all, it has a physical on/off button on the top.I purchased the lights to cover my 75" TV and they were easy to install. There was an extra foot of lighting left at the end so I just ran that last section down the middle. The strand connects directly to the sensor and the sensor has a USB cord to connect to a USB port. Most late model TV's should have a USB port on the back. The lights are programmed with an APP that I downloaded for my Iphone. You can set up a variety of programs based off the sensor input or from audio. The app also lets you control other settings such as auto off, brightness and color saturation. The only feature that seems a little quirky is the auto off. I found it would turn off the lights automatically when the TV screen was still on.The manufacturer should update their app to clean up a few bugs and even add some other features. That's my only complaint about this product. Otherwise I highly recommend these lights, especially if you can get them on discount.

I purchased this TV Backlight a few months ago and was immediately impressed with the quality and functionality for such a reasonable price. The color adapts to whatever is playing on my TV screen. It is incredibly responsive. It enhances my viewing experience. This product also doubles up as my "nightlight" even when I am not watching TV. Instead of turning on my nightstand light, I just use the TV backlight. It is easier on the eyes, especially in the evening. My only gripe is the app, which is a bit simplistic. It would be nice if I could program the light to turn on and off at custom times.Up until recently, the TV backlight was working fine. Last week, it just died on me and would not switch on. I reached out to the seller and they replaced the product within a few days at no cost. I am very pleased with their customer service and the company's willingness to stand behind their warranty.I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a reasonably-priced TV backlight.

super good product it exceeded my expectations. the light is pretty bright and no lag whatsoever. it is super easy to install literally took my about five minutes. However, one thing worth pointing out is you will probably need an extension cord to connect the main connector since it doesn't use the electricity from the TV
