I bought it as a spare for the main cable when traveling. I have a HP Zbook and it works perfectly. It’s less bulky than the original cable and is ideal for traveling. Much cheaper alternative than original manufacturer.

I go through a lot of chargers as the connection always seems to loosen up and stop working after awhile - sometimes only a couple of uses! This one was going really well at first, showing no signs of loosening up and the woven lead felt nice and robust. For £14.99 at time of review, I was properly impressed! Then the cat jumped up on the bed and knocked my laptop onto the floor. Unfortunately my chronically, ridiculously bad luck meant it must have landed directly on the end of the lead, because when I retrieved it, the metal bit was bent at a right angle. Needless to say, that was the end of the charger. It lived a short but valiant life, and I am sorry I didn’t get to keep it longer as it did seem to work very well right up until that point and I’d have been curious to see how long it held out.

Amazing price for quality charger. Significantly cheaper than buying direct from HP.
