Ordered this product for my nan, who unfortunately has a mediacl condition that makes it difficult for her to cut her nails and do other basic things. At first I was really sceptical that this product is going to do the job but after receiving it she tried it and we were surprised, it actually worked! My nan was able to file her nails down quite easily. And the best part she was able to do it all by herself.In my opinion this is a great product for babies and adults alike. It is super easy to use, isn't as noisy as I thought it would be. I have not tried it on a baby but I believe it will be safe to use on their tiny nails as when the file goes on skin it stops spinning.

I love this product! I've been using it on my baby since she was about a month old. It absolutely does not hurt her and I touch the skin with it all the time. It takes a bit of getting used to but once you get the hang of it you can do the nails super quickly. At first I would only use the slower setting and really took my time so it did feel just as long as a normal file but once you get the hang of it and a bit of confidence, whack it up to the higher setting and can get the nails done really quickly. I always do it when baby is sleeping, it doesn't wake her and sometimes I actually think she likes the low hum it makes.I would always come at the nail from below to make sure I'm not going over the nail bed with it. I also hold it upside down as I find the light is aimed better this way. I also find it best to stick to the edges of the file. I found that when filing the corners its best to use the right turning setting for the right side and left turning setting for the left side. I will probably use the 0-3 months file until I feel it is no longer working on her nails rather than go by age to ensure the rougher file won't be too much for her skin and will do the same on the next setting up.

Really brilliant device for filing babies nails! I read all the negative reviews about it being a bit rough - but I tested it on myself and it was extremely gentle - it stops if you push too hard and doesn't file skin. There is definitely a knack to using it with the spin direction to not grate against the nail but I got the hang of it pretty fast.Used on my little one - brilliant. She has terrible eczema and has been scratching in the night so much. Tried clipping, filing as well as biting the nails off myself - nothing worked. But after using this, NO MORE NAILS!!! 🥳I knock off one star because the unit is a bit poor quality cheap plastic/mass produced. At first I had to use it with the battery unit open because the battery contacts were really poorly positioned and wouldn't work with the battery lid closed as it pushed the batteries down too far. However, once I got a screwdriver in there to pull the contact up a little it worked fine. Well worth the price! Extra files are also included which is a bonus!

Cutting nails of a newborn is important to avoid the baby scratching itself all over its face. I always found it hard to do as my baby would move alot and was scared using baby clippers to cut the nails. As the baby moves you could end up cutting extra skin or cutting the nail abit to much. I was suggested a baby nail trimmer to make things easier so ended up buying this.What worth while purchases this was. There are multiple roughness adapters for the diffrence ages which is clearly marked. Both batteries and the filing adapters are easy to place onto the body. The trimmer itself has diffrent speed options and also a left and right option which reverse dirrection of the filler so that its easier to use. The light is also quite handy and located in the right place so that you can really see what you are doing. At first i was abit nervous about accidentally touching the babys skin but the trimmer is quite gentle so even if you do accidentally touch the skin it doesnt cause any harm.The only thing that slightly lets it down is the carry case which doesnt quite hold the bits and pieces securely in place so when you open the case the diffrent adapters are all over the place. Not a big deal as the trimmer itself works a charm.

I'd give this item 5 stars if it had lasted longer. Bought it in May 2022 and it's now January 2024 and stopped working for no reason. Tried changing the batteries and nothing. It seems like some fuses may have stopped working because if I give it a nudge it will work for a few more seconds until it stops working again. Disappointed as I was hoping it would have lasted many years.

The best baby nail file. Works really well and comes with good amount of different files. Makes sorting baby nails easy

I was a bit unsure about buying this as this is my second baby and with my first I always used tommy nail cutters without any issues however my 3rd time using them on my second baby I accidentally nipped his skin and I’ve been scared about cutting his nails ever since but now they’ve grown to the point where he’s scratching his face and making it bleed so when I saw these online I had to give it a try. He is 3 months old and moves around non stop the pictures of his nails are before using this and after using this while he’s awake and moving. I’m sure I can get the nails shorter but I’ll have to wait for nap time as he’s too fidgety. Personally I don’t think the light does much as the round files block the light
