Fluid and precise right out of the box
As a writer and translator, I find that I use my Kindle Scribe far more often than I expected. I can use the notebook function for fast notes during translation, and the larger format for reading is better suited for the philosophy and technical material I read professionally than my basic Kindle and Voyage, which are my choices for novels, memoir, and the like. So to say that I love my Scribe is an understatement. The one downside is that I go through nibs in a hurry, and I would be up the creek without a pen if I lost my stylus. When I found the Kindle Scribe listed on the compatibility chart for this nifty little EMR digital stylus from Abasuto, I thought it could resolve both of these issues. It did, handily. Do check the compatibility chart before buying, as not all digital styluses work on all electronic devices.First of all, the stylus comes neatly packaged with a warranty card and instructions plus a small capsule container holding10 replacement nibs, in addition to the one already installed in the pen. It has a pebbly matte feel that I find pleasingly tactile. It weighs 14 grams compared to the 16 of my original Kindle Scribe pen, and is roughly the same length, especially if you ignore my thoroughly worn Kindle pen nib. Differences include a flat rather than rounded eraser on this pen, which lacks the function-switching button of the original stylus (not a big deal for me), and is a tad wider in diameter. In action, I would be hard pressed to notice a difference between the two pens. As you can see in the pictures, the results are nearly identical. The Abasuto works the same as the Kindle pen in the notebook as well as when writing notes in a book. The erasers feel similar, though there are slight differences in feel during use. I find them comparable. As you can see in the last picture, this pen attaches magnetically to the Scribe just like the original stylus. Because it is thicker than the original, I will not store it in the pen loop to avoid possibl overstretching. My first impressions are overwhelmingly positive. I will update with additional feedback once I have put it to the test over time. Meanwhile, it is a relief to have a second pen for my indispensible Scribe, and lots of extra nibs to boot. Highly recommended.

Great for Galaxy devices, but nib durability is a concern
Let me start off by saying that I do not have a Remarkable 2 tablet. I ordered this pen in hopes that it would be similar in nature to the Staedler Norris Jumbo, but in a slimmer package like their regular pencil version. I was definitely not disappointed. This pen is made of metal, is weighty (15.7g), but not too heavy where it causes fatigue from extended writing/drawing sessions. The main reason that I purchased this stylus is because it stated that it would work with the Samsung Galaxy line of devices. It indeed does and it is a great addition to my implements for using them. All features are supported on both the S24U phone and the Tab S7+ that I have. It even works on my Note 20 Ultra 5G! Well mostly. Just like the Staedler Norris Jumbo, the eraser does not work on the Note 20 Ultra 5G, but the digitizer is different between the Note and the S24U/Tab S7+.This pen does not have Bluetooth, nor does it require charging of any kind. The eraser side even *kind of* works on my Huion Drawing Monitor that I use with my desktop PC. I was definitely not expecting that at all. It is not usable for that purpose, but it does register and can be used in a pinch (without pressure of course). As I said before, this pen is metal, and has an interesting texture that will stay in your hand without slipping under most circumstances. You can also probably put it in your pocket without worrying about sitting down and snapping it in half like the Staedler pencil stylus (yes I regrettably did this and am still sad about it. That pencil is pretty decent too!), but try not to press your luck with that. With all of this good, there has to be some bad, right? Well yes and no. Two things that I would have liked to see are (programmable) Bluetooth buttons, but that isn’t a deal breaker having ordered it knowing that it did not have them; and the other is the nibs are soft. I have worn through 2 of them already while using the pen to do shading over large areas. After literally burning through 2 of them, I will probably not be using the pen for shading anymore.Further, because they are so soft, there is a very high chance that if you write or draw too hard, the nib could end up snapping off at an angle perpendicular to the stylus. I feel that this is a fundamental flaw in the design of these styli as a good portion of the time that this happens, damage can occur to the mechanism which provides the pressure sensitivity. Because of this, there will most definitely be some loss of sensitivity, if it doesn’t completely stop registering. This has happened to me about 5 times over the last 5 years.I suppose that flaw is why the Apple pencil is so good. It has screw-on nibs that cannot break in this way. It is also why it costs >$100 USD. That pen is not likely to break and so they don’t have all of this repurchase income. This pen is approaching that price point itself, but ……Verdict: I would still recommend this product, but with the caveat that you know it does not come with Bluetooth and that the nibs are softer than you are used to if you are going to use it with Samsung devices. I wish I could speak to its use on the Remarkable 2 tablet as the hype monster has got me really curious about that product as well. If you purchase this product, happy writing/drawing. It is an excellent implement!

Sturdy EMR Digital Stylus
This is an EMR digital stylus that has a sturdy weight and works well with palm rejection. It doesn't need a battery. It seems accurate and writes just as well as the original stylus I used for my device. It has good response rate, and I find the pressure requirement to be comfortable. The extra nibs are a nice addition. The pen is comfortable. It is packaged well and would make a nice gift. Definitely check the compatibility to make sure you are purchasing a stylus that is compatible with your device, and protect it from damage when not in use.

Good stylus but overpriced
I used this for the Supernote A6x2 (Nomad) and it works well without problems with palm rejection or accuracy. Like with other EMR pens that have the eraser button, this one doesn’t work that well with the Supernote—when the eraser button is pressed, it’ll usually default to the tool you select with the pen tip. Hence the star deduction. However, I find the pen tip to be better quality and has a smooth cushiony feel (it doesn’t feel gummy on the feelwrite 2 surface). It feels sturdy with a bit a weight, so it doesn’t feel cheap. And as with other styluses, you don’t have to worry about battery life. Now, at the full retail price of $80, I do find that a bit steep for what you’re getting. Even if the eraser works for you on the device you’re using, this is only worth it with a discount (around $50-$60 at most). Hence another star deduction.Overall, a good stylus with good pressure sensitivity and feel but at a steep price point. 3.5 stars.

Nice Size & Weight
I love that I can get replacement styli for my tablet! This one feels nice in the hand. The "eraser" function is more convenient than having to use the eraser on the tablet.
