It is a groundbreaking book that sheds light on the often-overlooked contributions of women throughout Indian history. The book is well-researched and engagingly written, making complex historical topics accessible to a wide audience. It challenges traditional narratives and inspires readers to learn more about these remarkable women.I highly recommend "HerStory" to anyone interested in learning more about Indian history or the role of women in society.

A well written book by the Author. Kudos for demystifying Indian history from women’s perspective. It is a very engaging book with proofs to clarify the claim and not just an opinion.A must buy for all Indians.

Okayish
It is filled with spelling mistakes, so much so that it's distracting to read it and i haven't read more than a few lines. The font style makes it really difficult to read it. Very unprofessional of the author to do this. I understand it was meant to not be boring and too academic but this level of carelessness was not expected. Can't comment on the content becasue it's barely readable and i'm not sure if i'd read it. The cover page is beautiful.Update- I read it and it's not something very interesting. It's mothing breakthrough except the first few chapters. The stories although not very familier share the same themes as those of familier ones- women fighting patriarchy all the time and have been subjected to restrictions opression and whatnot throughout the history. The last pages were absolute rubbish. They are just making up reasons behind practices for touching of pickels etc. Nobody knows the actual reasons behind those practices and it's better to simple, admit, that we don't know. Citing news articles as sources of these information pieces comes across as just 'filling' up the book for a few extra pages and make it look like there's really some good content in it. The book is full of repetitve language and filler words.
