Disappointing
I bought this player for Spotify and my audiobook apps. I was impressed with the description and high reviews. I am disappointed by a couple of things. First, it is slow to respond when opening apps, settings, etc. Secondly, it has an automatic shut off, which was set for 30 minutes. However it often shut off prior to that time, and I had to go through the entire slow start up process again. I had to deselect that in settings. Then there are times when it does not automatically re-connect to the earbuds with which it has been paired. I have to go back into settings and re-pair my buds. which, once again ends up being a tedious process. It advertised being able to download additional apps, yet it is not compatible with the Chirp app for audiobooks.

NOT CUSTOMER FRIENDLY
I was lured into purchasing this item due to exceptional capacity and style. A) There are NO instructions or a "manual" anywhere in the box! It came with the unit + earbuds + cable and nothing else. B) I'm competent enough to work my way through it, BUT - each and every one of the APPS on this device demands access to EVERYTHING and you must SIGN ON to their particular site to accomplish anything. C) AIMP will play my music, but also demands access and has NO EQ that I can find. D) I use VLC for all my music. My internet is connected directly into my CPU and I don't use a router. I copied the VLC APP into the Data and Media files on this device - but it won't recognize it regardless of how I run install. E) Bluetooth runs Okay, but again - No EQ. I'm deleting everything I put on this device and sending it back. Worthless.

Buy something better
I use this player mostly for reading, but it's not good for much else. It's really slow, the Bluetooth cuts out, and the battery life is shorter than expected (the seller admitted this). I would have given it three stars, but I deducted a star because the seller was difficult to work with. Six months in and I'm ready to move on to something better.

good for music not for all day
does exactly what i need. I needed a place to store my music and organize it as well. I use to have an ipod but they are no longer made and this works well i am able to listen to my music and if you have the right headphones great sound quality.the cons would be when i initially installed my music i didnt read the pamphlet to know you have to format the storage card and then place your music in the right folder. the battery life is bad i only use it to work out but if i wanted to use it after working out for music or a game or two i would have to charge it again.

Useful even beyond being an MP3 player
Using CPU-Z I was able to confirm this MP3 player is powered by a MediaTek Helio P10 processor. It's an older chipset but still has a little oomph under the hood. The limit of 3 gigabytes of RAM means it's not the greatest for multitasking, but I found during testing that it was more than capable of handling graphically-intensive apps when they were the sole focus, including emulators like PPSSPP. Even with Android 9, the G15 was compatible with most apps I looked for, and when I couldn't get an app on Google Play due to the OS version, I was able to sideload the same app from APKMirror. The included earbuds are alright, but the sound quality was even better when I tested my headphones of choice in the 3.5 jack. There's plenty this device is capable of even beyond music, and I could even use this as a backup to my phone.

Would like more options. Can’t put my icons on start screen. Not as maneuverable as it should be.
Very little instruction on loading music.very little instructions, period.

Nice option as a MP3 player, but it feels more like a small tablet
I would give it a three only because it reminds me of a small tablet not so much of a MP3 as a standalone. I think it’s cool that I can go onto YouTube and Google apples music, Amazon music and can watch videos. However, the music players that come with this I don’t like it very much I had to download a different one. It was easy enough for me to put an SD card in it and upload music to it. It worked just fine I am reluctant to log into my Apple account using it so I will just stick with the music on my card for now and watch YouTube videos.
