I’ve been married for a quarter of a century. Both of us are in our late 60s. I realized one day that my sweetheart looks like she is at least 20 years younger than her actual age. Why? It has got to be her skin care regimen, which includes a variety of products along with daily application of sunscreen. So, not wanting to look like an old guy standing next to a young trophy wife, I have decided to adopt her regimen. I cleanse, I tone, I apply Vitamin C serum or cream, then a wrinkle-reducing product with retinol or bakuchiol, then I moisturize. I’m also now religious about using sunscreen every morning. This takes a few minutes out of my day, but after a year of doing this, she is now starting to say that my skin is looking better. That’s a tremendous compliment from my toughest critic.The title on this Amazon page says “Anti-Aging Cream for Men Collagen Retinol & Hyaluronic Acid Face Moisturizer Anti-Wrinkle.” I looked at the ingredients list and I do not see retinol listed, so I’m considering this stuff to be a moisturizer. Why it’s sold as a product just for men is a mystery to me. It comes in a convenient pump bottle. (If you have any difficulty pumping it out, you can easily unscrew the cap.) There’s an expiration date on the bottom of the bottle that is just short of 3 years from when I received it. It’s a light cream that is not at all oily or greasy. I find it slightly tacky at first, but that diminishes as it dries. C’mon, guys. The girls know a lot more about skincare than we do. Consider following their lead. If you're as old as me, you'll remember the "Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval." Well, this has the Wife Seal of Approval.
