I'm giving this a rare review (rarely do these days) because I needed to know from others. Paint by number is my go-to relax hobby and I know how enjoyable it can be if you have the right set. This one is a BUY from me but let me break down your pros & cons to help you decide:PROs:- No color mixing, its all straightforward numbers- Has all the numbers on the canvas- Quality of paint is good. I was worried I would run out based on others reviews. I laid it on thick and was fine- This print is GORGEOUS.- The color vibrancy is top notch- Good value for moneyCONs-The reference sheet is useless, its so small you literally need a magnifying glass and even then, aren't always sure- I too wish the lines weren't as dark, takes some work to cover them- Meh on the brushes. I'm picky, I used my own. My daughter didn't mind them.- I personally prefer an already stretched canvas like you get at Hobby Lobby kits but I get how at this price point, it is not possible

I’ve completed a lot of paintings. 59 and counting. All of them are basically the same. They come folded, you need to iron. Paints are thick and need to be watered down. Most require two coats of paint and there is always enough paint.

Because this really was a fun project. My first of this type, so there was definitely a learning curve.Pros - the paints were in good shape. I added a few drops of water as needed to thin certain colors.Cons - the paintbrushes in this kit are awful. I am a miniaturist, so I thankfully have better brushes. Theirs are long and awkward, no good for detail work.The canvas was folded instead of rolled, which caused lines and holes to form. You can't iron out holes.The numbers are too dark to hide, no matter that I applied several layers of paint.For the price point, I can't complain too much.

Paints are premixed, dries quickly, easy to use and a great value for the money. Highly recommend!

*** the picture I posted is of my painting NOT yet done, I just wanted to share a positive review ASAP!!! So I NEVER buy items with so few reviews but I loved the look of the picture so much that I gambled on it. And I’m so glad I did! By far my favorite paint by number and I’ve done quite a few. The colors are as vibrant as the photos suggest. Just LOVE. Probably about 4x the size of the other ones I’ve done about been a fun endeavor!

I haven't had a chance to paint this yet but wanted to give my first opinion. I love that is comes with all the colors instead of having to mix them. The brushes it comes with are good, I usually use my own though. I would not suggest this for kids unless they are skilled at paint by number as this beach scene is pretty intricate, which is the type I love. The canvas does come folded but a carefully used iron or steamer will help with that.

Canvas was folded, not rolled, and the creases just won’t come out.

Colors are all wrong and so many are transparent.
