However be aware that if using the bolt-on option it is a faff getting the Allan key through the plastic holder to reach the screw head.Although for some strange reason it is not in the promotional description (as a real benefit), the holder has a retaining clip for the lock. So if, as I considered, using a bike attachment point that is near or even below horizontal, the lock will stay in its holder.Overall high quality product and, at under £17 delivered, startling value

The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because my key almost got stuck in the lock on a really cold morning - I applied a load of chain lubricant into the keyhole and lock mechanism and it's been perfect since.

these locks are great I bought 2 the velcro and holder is extremely strong while folded away and also has a clip on the holder to prevent the lock from bouncing out while cycling they can be joined to each others lock to make 1 big lock so you can lock your 2 bikes together around a pole

Really impressed. Vert sturdy and strong, folds small and is long enough to get around most posts. Fits well in place of the bottle holder.
