Volume too low to be useful
The volume of this phone makes it impossible to use for older people, which is what I assume it was designed for. My father couldn't even hear it at all and I of normal hearing had to struggle.

Talking watches - 2 pack
This set of 2 talking watches are excellent for the visually impaired. The voices are clear and easy to understand and the watches are easy to operate. Due to the nature of the electronics, these are not very water resistant, but wearing under a sleeve should be adequate protection from rain.I love that this is a two-pack, giving the recipient a spare or you have an extra gift for someone.

Oh, I wish these were working well.
Hey so I am not the type of person who enjoys giving a low rating on anything and quite frankly the idea of giving a bad review just doesn’t make me feel good as a person. However, at the same time, I have to speak honestly about these things because it could make a difference for somebody who’s really in need. That said, I have to discuss these talking watches, and believe me, I so wanted them to work well! So, years ago, my grandmother was having difficulty seeing and I got her a talking watch, that was probably about 16 years ago. That thing worked so well that years later after she passed, it was still going strong!Flash forward to now, when my father has almost completely lost his sight as well as his hearing, which is a horrible thing for anyone to have to go through. And let me just add what people need to remember is that you can hear about this happening to someone and read it here in my written words, but if you absolutely see how much of their life it robs from them, how much happiness and joy it steals, and how sad and depressed it can make them, you really want to do everything in your power to make life as easy for them and livable as possible. So you want a product like this to work.My heart often breaks when I see what my dad has to go through and I think about the things like VR, etc., that I myself am able to engage in and enjoy, and I know how much he would love that and would be doing it with me all the time if he could just see.So I’m always on the lookout for things that can help him in any way and my mind went back, of course, to the watch I got for my grandmother. It just so happened that these talking watches have popped up to take a look at so I figured great timing! And what was nice about it was it came as a two-pack with two different styles of watches which I thought would work out nicely for him.Well, unfortunately, one of the watches completely has almost no voice at all, and the watch itself is working and keeping time fine but when you push the button to hear the time spoken, it is just the faintest of sounds that you barely make out any words. The other watch did play the voice and that was working fine and we’ve given it a few days just to kind of see how things go, and unfortunately, the other watch the voice is starting to fade out just a little bit. It didn’t die out completely when taking out of the package like the other one did, but this one is definitely on its way out. I was really hoping these were gonna work for my dad because he was so excited to have these to try out and I feel kind of bad like I dashed his hopes and got him all excited about something that unfortunately didn’t really work out the way I’d hoped.Another thing that was actually concerning was the metal part that goes through the band holes to secure the watch, my dad went to secure it and there was a piece of metal sticking off of it that punctured his finger. Did some antiseptic and bandaid and he’s ok, but it seems there must have been a glitch in the casting process perhaps? And listen, I get that these watches are not made in the way of a standard Rolex or Iwatch or some high-end item like that, but getting more than a few minutes out of the one and a few days out of the other, would just seem like not much to ask.So unfortunately, as much as I hate to do it I’m afraid I can only give a two star rating on this product and that’s because the second watch did work as it was supposed to but now the voice is fading.
