I have to say that a social influencer “influenced” me to buy this product. I never even heard of this brand before. It’s really pricey but it does the job. I apply this after my foundation and set it with the Urban Decay Up All Night Setting Spray and this stuff doesn’t budge, nor does my face start to “shine.” I have more oily skin and can’t stand any shine/glow per say and I’ve tried every powder on the market to no avail. I’ve been using this product for about a month now and so pleased that I decided to review it. Only occasionally do I need to reapply powder while at work and that’s usually only when it’s really hot and humid. This stuff works and it lasts. A little goes a long way.Now if you are very sensitive to smells, this may not be for you. It does have a sweeter smell but I find it “heavenly.” The smell does not last. You basically only smell it when you apply the powder.The best way to apply this is to use a beauty blender and just “press” it on to your skin and keep “dabbing” until it’s smooth. I didn’t like using it with a brush. It’s a little annoying with the net they have in the container which minimizes the amount of product that comes out. I watched a YouTube video from Huda saying the best way to get the product to come out is to turn it upside down before you open it and tap the lid 3-4x. This works. I almost always get the exact amount which I need for my face. If not, just put the lid back on and tap again. Easy!As for color….I’m Italian and have a lighter olive complexion with gold undertones. I chose the color “Cupcake.” I hate when makeup is “visible” on your face if it’s not eyeshadow. The Cupcake works perfectly and completely blends in with my foundation for a natural look. I also started using the Huda foundation in “Chai.” The color choices may be tricky but do some research. Go on the Huda website and even Google what your exact skin tone is and go from there.I’m very happy with this product and will continue using it. Oh I’ll add that I’m 55 years old and this product does not highlight and sit in every fine line on my face. I take exceptional care of my skin tho and with a great face primer, everything is blurred. Then use a setting spray and you’re all “set.”
