Just to start i own a computer repair shop, so i use these kind of tools on the daily.Ive been looking for a fast, strong and compact screw driver. I own the ifixit electric one and it was so weak and slow i never end up using it.So when i found this fanttic i was super excited. It is extremely strong and fast.That's when i realized one detail that i wish they would have which would make this perfect.Since it is so strong anytime you're screwing sensitive components you dont want the screw driver to finish tightening it. Even at the lowest torque it will easily strip anything that isnt heavy duty metal to metal.So the common practice with electric screw drivers like this, is to use the power to get the screw to about 90%, then tighten it by hand to get it just right.BUT this screw driver doesn't have a lock on it, so you cannot use it without any power as it will spin the motor. Which means i either risked stripping or breaking the part or pulling out another tool to finish the job. Which i think for something that is this expensive should be a mandatory feature.Even the cheap ifixit one had a lock.TLDR:Power is too strong to let the power tighten it all the way. Screw driver doesn't have a lock to tighten things by hand.

This has to be the best little tool kit for electronics building/repair that I've ever owned. I like how compact everything is, how all the bits are magnetic, the rotation of the cylinder, the light on the driver, and that it comes with a pry tool and tweezers, not to mention all the bits you will need including security torque bits. USB C for the charging port is convenient and everything fits into the tube. The torque on the driver is enough for most if not all PC and electronics repair. I wouldn't use this for anything else. If you need something with more torque like say mounting a server rack or furniture then get a heftier one. This isn't intended for that type of work though it could probably handle some of it. I have already used it on a couple of gaming controllers and a mini PC.

Great battery, great design.The first unit had some issues. The after sales contacted me and replaced with a brand new unit and new one works great.

It's a powerful little tool

Idk if the bump in performance is much more noticeable than the prior gen and not the biggest fan of the twist top. This is nice, but not mind blowing. The cost saving on the prior gen may just be worth it.
