Pace Mild Picante Sauce, 16 oz

I can my own garden-grown tomatoes and peppers, and I make my own salsa, but I still like to keep Pace on hand for fast meal prep or as an addition to my own salsa recipe. We especially like Pace on omelets and breakfast burritos.

Seriously, this stuff is delicious but these small containers aren't enough! I love the Hot kind just wish it was in a bigger container. Price is okay compared to other stores.

I like the texture and substance of Pace products. They are true to their claims of "mild, medium and hot". I do think they are over-priced but then they are quality.

Some of my fondest memories of eating out for dinner include sitting with a basket of freshly made tortilla chips sharing a bowl of spicy salsa with my husband. Unfortunately now that costs way too much to go out to dinner so having dinner at home is a good option. This salsa tastes like the real deal even though it is called picante sauce. You can dip chips or shrimp in it or serve it over eggs in the morning or have it with a tortilla and some melted cheese. We find ways to enjoy this and the possibilities are endless. The taste is perfect and compliments Tostitos chips very well. The sweetness, acidity, and spiciness are all perfect. It's not too "tomatooy", "ioniony", arfticial, or too sweet. The spice level is perfect, maybe 5-10% more than what I can tolerate and consider spicy. For refrence, I think flamin hot doritos are fairly spicy and I can tolerate eating the whole 9.75 ounce, with little to no pain.Half a 16 oz bottle is perfect for 10oz of chips
