I almost didn't buy this product because one of the reviews complained about an unpleasant smell. Glad I ignored this because I find the smell is minimal, dissipates rather quickly, and is actually quite pleasant. More than that, it actually transforms a plant, making it look a lot healthier, and giving it a well-looked-after and well-loved appearance.Unfortunately I didn't take any photo before I sprayed my plants but the difference is staggering. Just a very light misting produces superb results. My Alocasia in particular liked the treatment, as will any large-leafed plant.Highly recommended.

I find strange a few comments about this product smell, I do find the fragrance quite nice and relaxing.About the product not sure about the shiny.To me this product is badly marketed; they should aim to the cleaning of the leaf and the experience of doing it.For example, I used and the simple action of cleaning the leaf and the fragrance Inhaledof the product makes the whole thing a more of an intimate and close connection with your beloved plants.I like the product not for the shiny because there is not! Because the action of cleaning my plants.Price ? Bit too expensive for what is it.

Spray it on. Let it set. Leaves are shiny. They are lustrous. Plus, some of my fading leaves, turned dark green.

I have not used a leaf shine before, but I do have around 30 indoor plants. I have used it on all of them now and I had found that after light dusting of the leaf, this then finishes off very smartly and so far the shine has lasted a week and counting. So, the smell - yes it does have a smell but of essential oils, which I personally like whilst using this product and the smell does linger a while so feels fresh. I took my plants outside on the patio to spray them. I think the smell would only be a problem to someone who would not enjoy an essential oil smell (think lavender, rosemary, lemon balm), so it is not everyone's cup of tea, but clearly lots of reviewers also found the smell pleasant, as I did.

I’ve cleaned all my plant leaves with this today - everything from philodendron to peace lilies - and all of my plants seem greener, shinier and are standing up more. I’m delighted!The smell is quite strong as it contains limolene, which is also contained in mosquito repellant, but it’s more subtle than that. Frankly, the plants loved it so much I’m prepared to put up with a little odour for an hour or so.
