Solid tasting ginger ale

I like soda but not the artificial sweetners in most brands so this brand got my attention. The ginger ale flavor is my favorite.

I see way to often reviews from people who I think aren't able to give a really realistic review of drinks in the no sugar, but with plant-based sweetners (Stevia), and or with fruit flavors; sweetened with fruits, or just flavored with fruits....aren't really used to the above mentioned categories of today's alternative types of drinks. Or are JUST switching to these categories for like better Health reasons. And also to perhaps stop drinking pop filled with tons of sugar per serving❗🤢And maybe to now lose weight.I personally have been drinking liquids with plant based sweetners for a longgggg time.As diet liquids have been using aspartame long before sweeteners like Stevia finally came into their own.And aspartame is known to leave a person with a higher craving for sugar based foods and drinks, than they had initially🤢🤢 Negating the whole Healthier or dietary benefits of these non sugar based drinks.I find Zevia products/flavors to be the closest to replacement to a sugar drink like pop than ANY other product❤️And also better than drinking even the best plain waters on the market. Plain water of any kind ... Tap, bottled, or filtered bores me to tears🤢😁This Zevia Ginger Ale flavor is nice and bold, crisp, and very refreshing❗❗😀 In my opinion.

Not too bad, only complaint is that is has a slight after-taste. But for a zero calorie drink it does taste good.

I purchased this because several of my regular sugar free sodas (Fresca, Canada Dry Ginger, A&W) were not available nor had been for weeks. This was quite a bit more expensive as well (this was the same price for 6 cans as what 12 cans are in the Canada Dry which is much much better). But I like keeping Ginger Alr on hand for stomach ailments and cold/flu symptoms in addition to occasional treat besides water or skim milk. I try and keep sugar to a min but with soda I prefer it be totally absent as I have grown accustomed to the flavor. I vaguely remember saccharine sodas and that was anyways a giant barrier for me but nowadays sodas Thats a lot better even if some have some not so perfect side effects, you need to weigh the benefits for your own situation. I only drink about 6 cans a week so I am not as fanatical about trace sweeteners unless toxic, and more concerned about flavorsGiven all that, I received this 6 pack two months ago and have only been able to drink 3 cans. It’s so bad I have only tried to reach for after my other options are gone again and I have forgotten the last attempt.It does nit taste if ginger as much as this awful chemical artificial taste that over powers anything else but the fizz. And even 30 minutes after drinking it the aftertaste is there. I am not sure if it’s too much Stevia (I use the sweetener sparingly on its own in coffee and select recipes and it can be strong if nit diluted properly like some of the blends are). This is just way too reminiscent of the diet soda from my very young childhood where Mom would keep Pepsi Light or Tab in the house (rat poison is what we called it)I will stick with Canada Dry and if Amazon is out, I will just have to find it somewhere else. This is horrible fizzy chemicals soda and not at all enjoyable.

You wont be fooled into thinking its real ginger ale - but not bad as a mixer or if you prefer a blander ginger ale. I need sugar free (stevia only, no artificial stuff) mixers - this is ok - though super carbonated, i let an open can flatten out a bit first. Also note, don't be surprised that if you pour it is clear, as is the cola etc - no coloring (this is a good thing, can just be surprising when you see it ;)
