More granular than others.
This particular cassava flour is more granular than powdered. I see other reviews that note that and consider that a fault. I suppose it depends on what you use it for as to whether you like it or not. I make biscuits, pancakes, tortillas and cookies with it and it makes them so much better than the ultra fine "normal " flour. So, consider what you'll use it for and your consistency preferences. I've switched to only this cassava flour.

Exactly what I needed for farofa
So I found a recipe for feijoada (Brazilian Black Bean Stew) and it said traditionally people made farofa to put on it, which is toasted cassava flour. The recipes pointed out not to use starch, use the flour. So I went to my local latin grocery store and bought what the package labeled as cassava flour, but it was not. It was exactly like corn starch and tasted gummy, never browned or anything. So on amazon I found this product, said it was flour, but some of the reviews were terrible! I wasn't sure but I had a huge batch of feijoada and needed to make the farofa (first night I didn't get any farofa, and the beans were fine over rice). This product worked! It toasted up good, and has an awesome flavor and even better texture sprinked on the beans! Very happy.

Peanut flour: Bitter, moist, raw and clumpy
This is gross! Not a flour at all, just coarse, mashed peanuts. When I first opened the bag, an entire peanut was sitting on top, so being curious, I ate it. It was awful! Bitter, it must be rancid. Ten minutes later and my mouth still tastes bitter.Beware, it’s not defatted. It’s moist, and doesn’t smell or taste at all like peanuts. At least my bag doesn’t. It’s not roasted either, so don’t order if that’s what you’re wanting. The listing, under the Buy Now button, says “Eligible for Return or Replacement”. But when I attempted to make a return, it refused, saying it’s NOT eligible for return.I called customer service, got the runaround from the digital voice but eventually it gave in and I spoke with a human. He was very helpful and processed my refund. Please note: the 4.0 rating is very misleading. It’s based on reviews from a variety of different flours. So, while people might be very happy with arrow root or brown rice flour, the peanut people are not pleased. Because of the combined ratings, that’s not reflected, which makes the generally positive rating misleading.

got this because it was in a recipe for jam and it was the only white corn flour
I have no had a chance to try it jet because I was more interested in trying to figure out the new bread maker setting to see if it would churn butter; that accomplished, I contacted mfg to get better instruction on setting the custom settings to use for that task. As soon as I get the settings set and make more butter and buttermilk, then I will make a loaf of bread and try the jam recipe. Since I am alone in the house, I can only eat so much bread. Tis' my very first brand new bread maker; always bought used before but since I used it more than I expected and am alone now, I have more time and less interest in making bread with no one to eat it. It was getting hard for me to knead by hand and I have NO counter space and only a one hiney kitchenette.

A bit grainy
Usually tapioca flour is a very fine powder. This product is more course and grainy. That shows up when baking with it.

5 star product, but wrong product.
I chose the corn starch over the corn flour, to use for the body. Well, it’s fine corn cooking flour. It will make nice bread. The price is nice too. The company says all their products are non gmo, so I’m good. Looking forward to adding corn to my wheat flour bread for nice toast. I can almost smell it now. Yum.

superb value!
Using this product for making gravies and sauces, clarifies well, nearly flavorless and pennies per serving! What more could you desire? Five well earned stars.

Poor Packaging
First off, the packaging is unexcuseable. Mine came in a box with a bag inside which contained the packaged cornflour. The bag itself was structually sound, however there was still corn starch, I assume from the packaging process, stuck to the outside of the bag and the bag it was held in. Also, the seal on the bag itself is so shoddy it cannot be properly closed, no matter how many times I attempted to, the ziplock system itself is flawed and does not seal allowing air, and more importantly moisture, into the bag.The corn starch itself is fine, it looks, tastes, smells, and functions as regular corn starch.
