This metal edging is durable, but not as heavy and expensive as brick or rock edging. It is a nice looking, affordable, creative solution for raised beds. It is stable and rigid, but easy to install. You just set the edging in the trench and tap it in with a board and mallet. Simple to snip and cut to size. It is very effective at deterring slugs and keeping the plants contained. The finished product looks custom and unique.

I needed to put this metal along a fence that borders our property because a dog got through the fence. And that could be dangerous for my dog. The fence belongs to the landlord so I couldn't put up a concrete wall. I had put up concrete blocks, but they did not totally cover the hole in the fence. The concrete blocks will hold this metal up and it will be easy to install. This metal is so sturdy and thick that I could not cut it with well known metal shears. I bought the chrome color and am very pleased with it. Although it is not for a garden border, it looks fine along the back fence. The concrete blocks will hold it up. Weeds and garbage have gotten through the fence. The addition of this metal will keep those out, along with the critters called dogs and skunks.

I used these to line the inside of a planter box that has started to rot. I am pulling the planter box back to reveal just the metal. However, part of the ground has dipped down in one corner and I am losing soil. Finally fixed it with cardboard. It breaks down slowly and helps stabilize the soil. Deep enough for my sweet potato crop. Two people works better to set it up. Very thick and maintains memory shape. Not too sharp at the edges but gloves are still a must.

It takes some elbow grease to put these in but so worth it.

I was hopping this was solid, but this looks to light weight.

Junk. Looks good for 1 month, then rusts.

This works better then expected. Light weight and easy to install. I used this to cover the gap between my fence and ground so Rabbit does not crawl into my property. Time will tell if this works for this problem.
