Astonishing Value
As a serious arms and armor collector for almost 40 years, this purchase was made on a lark, out of appreciation for the television show. I expected a wall hanger at best, and received, to my astonishment, a fully functional katana, made of good quality steel with a nicely honed edge, Assembled and fitted right and tight. Plus, to my lasting delight, modeled just like Samurai Jack's magic Aku-killing sword from the series, right down to the finer details. The same is wood painted bright yellow, the tsuba is square, and the kissaki has the Samurai-Jack sharp-angle clip-point. The best value and quality for the price I have ever experienced in my many years of collecting.

My samurai jack sword is awesome and (please give me a free habaki replacement please.)!
The sword is awesome and looks accurate to samurai jack katana but, the only thing thats a problem is that the habaki on the katana has tiny long crack that will damage the sword, the sword is full tang and battle ready functional even though its 1045 steel, if who ever buys this its worth the money buy replace the habaki when you or somebody who reads this and buy the sword. And almost if you have more concerns dismantle the sword and examine it and its tang if no problem good but if not. Replace or remake something,if you don't have the tools ask for a refund. (And by the way the sell my samurai jack sword habaki has a crack in it please send me a new perfect crafted replacement for it and next time when making the sword please check them thoroughly so please send me a free replacement). FOR ANYONE WHO BUYS BATTLE-READY FUNCTIONAL SWORDS PLEASE CHECK THEM THOROUGHLY AND SEND PICTURE OF THEM IN REVIEW AND SHOW THEIR TANGS AS WELL TO HELP FUTURE BUYERS AND THAT IT. And seller please send me a free replace habaki in perfect condition.

Beautiful, well made, sharp metal blade
Outstanding detail, heavy weight. I’m a very happy Samurai Jack fan! Musha puts a lot into their high end swords. It’s really nice to see that quality extend to their practice/collector swords!

Good purchase.
I enjoy this katana. Blade is not polished well and has no ray skin. No sword bag. But for the price it's a good purchase. I've pains takeingly painted the yellow wood black and it looks better. A bit front heavy. I'd preferred about 2,"shorter and I may just do that myself. I'd buy it again. Very pleased

Came back to purchase my 4th katana but now they're out of my price range.
For either clearing brush around the farm, clearingAn occasional Cotton Mouth snake or a Alagator Snapping Turtle get caught in my bait nets and for some reason they come out pissed off at me almost every time. This year I actually, for a short while, caught a adult beaver that I thought I was going to have to fight with it but the ÷^&$%**/* made short work of my cast net and went on his way. I have killed more than one coon, or as city folk call them, Raccoon.I've had several back surgeries and have used many swords sheathed and unsheathed to keep me in the creeks and ponds I grew up with.A man in my position would be lucky to loose his life in an honorable fight to one of the many critters I've fought with in the woods during my lifetime. If and when it does happen, I'm hoping it's a Badger or Mountain Lion and not a damn snake bite.I'd buy this katana again and as hard as I am on them, I probably will.Dan G.Edit 1 year and one month later.I need to start charging because apperantly I can see the future. Here I am right at one year later to purchase another katana. Not sure if my hands were wet from cutting poison oak, briars and branches along the river bank and I just lost my grip or my Katana's soul actually came to life and wanted to go swimming in the swift murky water but my last vision of my old one was as it was entering the river after coming out of my hand. There is a reason I am here instead of some other sword post.NO ONE SHOULD EVER TREAT A SWORD AS BADLY AND DANGEROUSLY AS I DO!I cant stress that enough! But if you find yourself in the position that you need to really use your katana? For the price, This is the katana you want. No question.Well, I came back to purchase my 4th katana but the price has doubled.I'm not paying $100.00 for another disposable sword.Looks like it's a brush axe for me this time. It'd sure be nice if the seller seen my good reviews and many purchases and offered me one for a huge discount because of those things but I wont hold my breath.

Musha Sword
Bought this sword because it a a samurai Jack replica. Expected a cheap fabricated sword, but was very surprised to see the Musha name on the box. Musha swords are real and not fabricated fakes. These are combat ready and can actually be used. The sword is visually perfect with no defects that I have seen. Packed well and in Foam for support. This is my second Musha sword and will buy more. Solid sword and quality product.

Acceptable Wall Hanger
Well in the grand scheme of things, let's say "It's close enough." There are no Samurai Jack markings or anything to say it is such, it just looks about like the cartoon sword, which due to the style of the cartoon is undetailed by design. The tsuka is painted yellow and wrapped nicely with cotton tsuka-ito, and all the fittings are plain and unremarkable. The tsuba is just a metal square, the hamon is etched on, and is NOT real. The balance is terrible, it's like a weighted bat, the blade is thick and heavy and fatigues the wrist as a result. The menuki surprisingly are nice, and it can be taken apart via a pair of mekugi. The saya is simply there, it is mass produced but the lacquer is smooth and pleasing. The koiguchi is exposed wood, and wouldn't surprise me if it was made from a reclaimed pallet. But...it's a $50 sword, you get what you pay for. It's good enough to hang on the wall and say "That's the Samurai Jack Katana" and make your friends jealous. As long as you know what you are getting, and not expecting an actual handmade Musashi or Paul Chen, it's a great price for a pretty wall hanger, I'm pleased I bought it.
