Watch repair toolkit perfect for home use.
Using this tool set I've been able to remove two links from an inherited Hamilton watch band, remove the screw-off and pry-off backs from other family watches to replace batteries, and replace watch bands. It certainly saved me some money. The tool set is not professional quality – you will not open a watch repair kiosk at the local mall, but you'll be able to do some of the simple maintenance needed on a variety of watches. For example, the case knife is a little thick and needs care when prying off the back of a watch. The screwdriver and punches are not particularly strong and you might (like me) bend them and have to straighten them out again. But with care they should perform perfectly well. All in all it is a good set for those times when you have to replace a battery, add or remove links in an expansion band, or replace a watch band.

For the entry price you're a watch repairperson
My grandson, who owns one of everything....including a dozen watches, did not have anything to repair, install a battery or adjust a watch band. Now he does for a very affordable price. Good tool kit.

Cheaply made
I bought this set for the hammer, the case knife and the spring bar removal tool. They're just fine and I'm satisfied; however, some of the rest of the kit is junk. It's a good example of the proverb: you get what you pay for.The product description says the kit is for "common fixes like watchband adjustments, changing watch batteries, gaskets, opening watch backs." I wouldn't call that "repair," but this product has to be viewed in the light of its limited goals. My father was a watchmaker and he taught me the basics of the trade, so I approach this review with a background of professional tools. The kit comes with two each flat blade and Philips screwdrivers. Each pair is the same size. Variety might have made sense. They're very cheaply made. The Philips handles were not cleanly molded. The flat blade tops did not rotate freely. The kit has a "block" whose function I don't have a clue about. The long nose pliers did not open freely, and the cutter section could not even cut through a twist tie.The tweezers might be usable, but I've been spoiled with Dumont 3C tweezers, so nothing else counts. It has a case wrench, but only with 2 pins. A decent case wrench needs three. The adjustment nut on the wrench is mis-threaded, so the pin cannot be positioned vertically. It will probably slip off in use. I have a decent case wrench already, so I'll never use this one. There is a watchband holder and pin remover that I have not tried. It looks mildly promising. So in summary, this is a decent hammer, spring bar removal tool and case knife. Just throw away the rest.Note: the Amazon product listing at the end has description for a different product, so many things are pictured towards the bottom of the page that aren't included in this kit, such as a carrying case and a 3-pin case wrench.

I have fixed so many of my watches since i bought this.
Its so nice to have this kit on hand. Its so much easier to change batteries and work on my watches now. Has a tool for everything ive needed . Its much safer to repair my watches now without breaking them with the right tools.

Solid starter kit
All of the tools seem to be of decent quality and this is a great starter kit for someone trying to remove some links, a band or perhaps service their watch.

Thrown in Garbage
I'm really disappointed in this kit. The kit checks all the boxes for basic tool needs for watch maintenance, but unfortunately the quality and execution renders this kit mostly useless.None of the flat head screw drivers included fit a single fastener on my watches. Can't fit bezel screws, can't fit band screws. They are all too thick at the point to fit in the recess of the screw. One screw driver fell out of the handle and it spins inside the handle if you try and use it.Three of the knock-out pin tools came bent.Case knife is too thick, not sharp enough. It cannot be wedged in to remove case back or bezel. The strap / band removal tool also too wide/thick to fit in-between the case and band or tool access slot. Doesn't work at all.The case-back key is also not suited for any watch where the key ways are not 180* opposed.I could go on. This was a total waste of money. I threw most of the kit in the garbage.
