DON'T BUY THESE 6AH BATTERIES
I have purchased 6 of these genuine Makita 6ah batteries in the last 3 years all but one have failed. All my work colleagues know Makita have a problem with these batteries but they still continue to sell them. Buy the 5ah .DON'T BUY THESE

Doesn’t justify the extra money for the amp hour
Doesn’t seem to last as long as a previous 6 amp I’ve purchased from Makita.life expectancy was about the same on both battery’s few months at best.
