We have a tabletop lighted angel that we put out every year during Christmas. It's about 15 years old and the internal halogen bulb finally died. I figured it was a good time to swap to LED as it uses 1/3 the wattage, is brighter, and puts off very little heat. The halogen got quite hot. It's a perfect fit and works great!

I thought I was over-ordering quantity (4), but I found I have two old sewing machines and one old vacuum that use this size base. Each bulb fit, worked, and is bright. Thus far - at 4 months - none have failed. Excellent.

I got this for my vintage Singer 201 sewing machine, hoping that it wouldn't be too long since some of the LED lights are. These are in fact the same length as the incandescent bulbs, so it fit with room to spare. The light is considerably brighter than the incandescent was, and the daylight color is really nice to have when sewing! They should fit any sewing machine (or other item) that fit a standard incandescent bulb of this type. If I have any problems with the bulbs I will update this review, but for now they are a solid five stars.Update: the one in my Singer 201 has gotten a lot of use and has held up well so far. I just installed another bulb in my Singer 401A and it also fit and works great. The brightness and color made it much easier to sew my jelly roll rug! I've attached a pic of it installed.Update 2: Just got a 301A and installed another one of these bulbs. Fits/works great. All bulbs are still working as expected.Update 3: Tried one in my Featherweight and it works great.Update 4: also works great in an Elna SU and Singer 401. I have yet to come across a machine that accepts this type of bulb that this hasn't worked great in.

The title says it all. These were fine replacements for my Singer 66-16 bulb (which is a shorter bulb) and also fit my newer Viking 6030 - which also has the bayonet style base but a longer bulb. Really like the warm, bright light AND it running cooler than an incandescent bulb.

UPDATE: I found a review that wasn't available when I ordered these indicating the issue with these bulbs is that they are for automotive use, not appliance, and have been mislabeled. I got mine back out and sure enough, printed directly on the bulb it states that this is what they were for. No wonder they blew up. I requested a refund and got it, and since others have indicated that this is a manufacturing issue I will not order replacements until this error is resolved.I installed these in a Singer 503a sewing machine and wow did these ever fail. They exploded immediately both times I tried. The original bulb (by original I mean this is a 40+ year old Singer brand light bulb) still works but gets a little too warm on my hands up close and it's a very warm, yellow light that messes up color clarity sometimes, like I can't tell the difference between blue and teal green. These particular bulbs are recommended by other reviewers for various sewing machines that use an identical bulb, though I didn't see my model mentioned specifically. So if you're reading this wondering about your vintage machine I suggest you try something different. I have three of this particular machine that I'm restoring so I'm really bummed this 4 pack is 4 flat out failures. I cannot stand the way LED bulbs sound when they blow and it happened within inches of my face so I'm really not happy. I'll find something else. The contacts and pegs fit perfectly, I had no issues at all with fit. We compared them, even using calipers to see if there was a difference that wasn't visually obvious but found none. No idea why these flunked.
