Cruel Price - Review
The Cruel Prince was an enjoyable read, but it left me a bit underwhelmed. With all the hype it gets on Bookstagram, I had incredibly high expectations. Don’t get me wrong the world-building, backstory, and strong main characters were impressive, but I felt like something was missing. I was hoping for more romance between Jude and Cardan, though I’m optimistic that the next two books will deliver on that front.What stood out to me the most was the plot twist at the end I didn’t see that coming at all! Overall, I did enjoy the book. Jude’s character was fierce and compelling, and while Cardan was as broody and cruel as expected, I couldn’t help but love his character too. On the other hand, I absolutely hated Cardan’s friends and felt really bad for Vivienne. As the story progressed, I found myself despising Taryn and Locke more and more.Oak, however, completely stole my heart with his mischievous charm. I’m diving into The Wicked King next, and I’m crossing my fingers that it will make me fall in love with the series and finally understand all the hype.

Cardan & Jude. Jude & Cardan. Jude >>> is the most perfect badass queen. Cardan, the clingy one. A story with high politcal stakes & deadlier scheming & betrayals. I love, love, love, everything about this series. The pace, the length, the writing, the characters and the world. 💯Go get it.

The boxset corners were crumbed a tad bit and the same with the corners of the first and third book but tolerable.The printing of prose, designs and maps are even and stark and the condition of the books overall is an A+. I would recommend this seller.

It's great. Plus the price was a total snatch. I love the FOTA series and adore the books. Quality was alright too! And that book smell? Don't get me started!

This one will keep you addicted
The first book maybe a slow start for some, but just stick through it and trust me you'll fall in love with faerie land by the end of the cruel prince itself. Very well-written, well-described and well-curated works of fiction.It's just the perfect blend of romance and politics. Romance remains a subplot, as it should in this one. ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT.Recommended 10/10.
