This is giving great showers considering it's a 6 l/m shower head. I wouldn't have guessed it was half the flow rate of the one it replaced, in fact it feels better. Our in home energy monitor is showing that showers cost about half the energy they did before, so it should pay for itself pretty quickly and It's helping us be more sustainable.It's 100% made of plastic, which is fair enough at this price point. It feels decently thick and the general fit and finish on the parts is very good. Don't expect something heavy and high end, but the quality is very decent for the price. I expect it will last some years. I'd say it looks more expensive than it was.There's two flow settings, a steady shower from the whole head and a focused jet shower from the centre. Both are good enough for our needs.

Works well, slightly less water power than some because it saves water, which is good. Very easy to clean and looks smart.

I was looking for a lightweight shower head, with a clean modern design. This is that.Has a good, even flow, no 'drippy' nozzles (I guess some may block up eventually, we're had it for 5 months and it's great so far).I tend to leave the head hanging on the stand while showering, but my partner likes to hand-hold it so she wanted a lightweight head. This was one of the lightest I saw (thanks to all plastic construction).First impression was nearly negative - after taking it out the box it's natural to try switching the pattern lever. Pushing the lever past the centre positions causes the head to come apart. I guess this is possibly a feature, so you can clean inside easily, but felt a bit wrong. Good news is that nothing like that happens when in use, it's all tight and solid, and easy to switch between the two patterns while water is running.Looks good, good flow, lightweight, relatively inexpensive.

After connecting to the existing shower hose, water squirted from the connection despite there being a rubber washer in place. It seems the threaded part of the shower head isn’t long enough to connect with the washer, allowing water to squirt out. Luckily I had a spare washer, & using two allowed a snug fit. Apart from this, the shower head is excellent. It has an output of 9 litres per minute, regardless of which of the two settings you have it on. One setting is a wide pattern that really soaks you, the second is more concentrated & more powerful. Seems very good quality & I’m hopeful it will last many years.

Great shower head , definitely used less water. Our Bill's and water were higher than other houses around us. The only thing different was when taking a shower, water went up 5fold. So hopefully our water bill will come down. The small rubber round filter wouldn't fit properly in the hose end so had to use the other filter already there , this was because the water leaked out of the hose.

This shower head is supposed to work with a low pressure shower. It was actually worse than the one it replaced.Obviously the main problem was the lousy shower and I’m sure it’s a reasonable shower head, but don’t expect it to resolve lower pressure problems.It’s not expensive, so probably worth the money.

bought to replace a 2 setting Grohe shower head that inexplicably split lengthwise. mind you, i've been in this rented place for nine years so...anyway. there are limited choices for shower heads for low pressure systems like i have here - fed from combi boiler.Outgoing head was 8.5cm, this one is bigger (10cm) - on pressure setting, the old head would push itself away from the bath. this one doesn't but it's OK.Given that the majority of reviewers for Grohe heads currently on Amazon are disappointed with flow maybe i got lucky with that one. i guess if you need that sort of push you should look for a smaller diameter head than this.so the Hansgrohe 100 Vario 2 is nice to hold, pretty light, comes with an inline filter and a replacement "washer" to fit in the end of the hose. it works perfectly well and fits in to the Grohe rail on the wall.so - all good.
