Wow! I feel so free! Such an amazing invention.
I've tried a couple different wireless guitar systems and they were awful. I was skeptical about this one. However, I decided to give it a shot. You get what you pay for!I'm in love with this wireless setup. Everything about it is amazing. I feel so free using it!Things I love most:++ Little to no latency++ Not much interference, very stable connection++ No noticable difference in sound in a live settingThe only issues I ever have are when I forget that my cell phone is in my pocket. If you have wireless devices too close to you, the connection will break up.I'm a huge fan of these! If you are a performing/gigging guitarist, I highly recommend you give these a try! You won't regret it!

Perrrrrfect!
It works perfectly.I have had no interference with routers or anything.I am glad I went for this one ,it is easy to use and less bulky than the famous line 6 system .I use it with my Yamaha electric violin .Happy:)

Great Wireless Unit!
I have had MANY, and I mean many wireless units over the years all the way to Nady. I've had full-pro rackmount units and smaller line 6 units and portable "bug" type units and the Boss unit is amazing. Very natural sound, great build quality, reliable. The only thing I wish they had was either a quality case or even better a charging case. That would completely put them over the top but they sound incredible and that is ultimately what really matters.

Signal DROPS - Even line-of-sight just a few ft away!!! Would NOT Recommend to anyone ever!!!
I own Boss products and think highly of that brand -- that's exactly why i went for what was one of the most expensive options for wireless guitar systems (there were many cheaper options). I don't even mind that it is a bit bulky, if it worked that is. I bought a set and sent it back thinking it was defective. I remember thinking Boss could never make something so terrible as this! The second pair i received was just as bad. The units stay connected but the signal drops or you can hear the interference. To keep this short, basically there was no way to go through a complete song without absolutely any drops unless i was facing the Rx and about 3 ft away! Yes, there is a lot of 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz radios where i am but still - reviewers say this can work through walls and/or 50 ft away. I now have 3 units and NONE are NOWHERE near any of these claims. I am sending two back and keeping one just for the heck of it (I still like Boss) but i thought i would share this info in hopes that they improve this unit. That's my experience, if it works for you - that's great and i am happy for you. However, if you are not brand loyal and just want to go wireless, there are many more cheaper options to explore. Enjoy your guitar, rock on .. and i hope soon we will see a Boss system that actually works!Update: I have since bought a set from a different brand that is thinner, less expensive, comes with a case that actually charges the units while not in use and these work flawlessly, near and far from the amp and I never had a single signal drop or interference..

Good but can’t stay plugged in when off
Well built product. I had two issues. This switches on when plugged into the jacks. While this is nifty it also means you cannot leave them plugged into guitar and amp when not playing as it will drain the battery. You’ll end up having to unplug both at the end of every session. This may be just fine with your routine and is in any case not a big deal.In my case i use it for practice and prefer leaving them plugged in and switching off a button which some competing products have.My second issue was with WiFi router interference. The 2.4GHz spectrum is what most WiFi routers use and my amp is close to the router. This caused significant interference. Boss says in instructions to be at least 3 meters away from WiFi router and this is just impractical for me.My solution was to go with a different product that uses the 5GHz spectrum and that has on/off buttons. In most other cases I end up using Boss products as they are just so well built and thought through. This is a rare exception.

I think the extra money is worth it
These units are super-easy to use, and they sound great. The big advantage, ironically, is using them in a small room where you end up tripping over cables. Eliminating a couple of guitar cables is helpful.I bought some bargain wireless units and ended up returning them due to inferior sound quality. I'm keeping these.

Changes volume control
It sounds and performs well, but when I roll off my volume, it doesn't go down until between 1 and 2 on my Strat. I use volume all the time, so it's a deal breaker for me. I don't think it is compressing the signal, but something with the circuit in the transmitter or receiver doesn't work with my gear. Perhaps I should try different guitars and pedals.

Exactly what I needed and works with my active pickups
I was a little worried about the whole active/passive thing with the WL-20 and WL-20L. But the WL-20 was $50 cheaper so I tried it out. So amazing, it just works. Quick connection, and I use two side by side with no issues at all. Selling my Line6 G30 systems and sticking with the Boss. Just wish I would have got these earlier. My guitar has two pickups, both active, and there are no sound or connection issues at all. For reference, I have a Taylor T5Z (works with all 5 pickup selections) and an LR Baggs Anthem SL.
