My sister-in-law had one of these trash cans at her house and I happened to need to throw something away. I was so impressed with it that I decided to order one and it’s been great!My last trash can fit the same size bag but had a more narrow shape. The wider shape of this one is way better and I think helps wider things not get wedged so tight in it that it rips the bags (which used to happen more frequently with our last can). This one also seems to hold more trash somehow, even though the bag size is the same.Having a foot pedal opening is always a requirement for me. If you’re cooking or doing anything that results in dirty or full hands, being able to open the can with your foot makes things so much simpler.The specific design of this can also makes removing the bags pretty easy - nothing gets caught on any weird edges or anything.I have never used a trash can that I like better than this one.Last but not least, it’s pretty!

Had the trash can for 4 years now.The top lid did break one one side, but it's still functional and it was no fault of the trash can itself. My son was walking and jumping on it. The fact only one small part of the plastic broke and still works just makes me like it more. Was 115$ when I bought it.

The Kohler 13-gal, trash can fits nicely in a corner of the kitchen. The rectangular shape works with the 13-gal. bags that I have. Stepping on the pedal opens the lid, no hands required. The lid closes slowly rather than bangs down.

This is a step up from our previous trash can. Looks good and holds bags perfectly.

If your plastic bag leaks the plastic pail will stop any liquid from getting on your floor.On the negative side, the price is a little dear

This garbage can is the best I've ever owned. I've had it for two months with no problems at all. I wish I had ordered it years ago. It keeps odors in and is very easy to keep clean. No smudges. The bags fit perfectly. We are very happy with this purchase.update: It will be three months old Wednesday. This morning It would open half way. Very disappointed. 140.00 is a lot for only three months use. I called amazon, but they wouldn't help me. I would not recommend.

this is a great product. Very well made and seems to be durable. Two notable items are the lack of a gap in the back of the lid near the hinge. On most garbage cans there is a gap and garbage gets caught in there. This on is smooth and therefore will stay cleaner. The second thing about it that I love is the lid. A lot of these have a poorly made lid that opens with a bang, this one is quiet and seems well made. So far I am very happy with this product.
