Silk Ribbon Embroidery: Designs & Techniques Paperback – July 1, 2002

I am very impressed with Ms. Cox's books. She has the know-how, and the ability to impart it to others. Photographs and drawings show how to do the stitches (and in some cases what to do when it goes wrong!), and she does not only project ideas but also individual instructions for particular flowers, so you can make your own.If you can only buy one or two books, make sure her name is on them. I've been disappointed with others, but not here. Really impressive!

I have been doing silk ribbon embroidery off and on for years, but had gotten bored. Saw this book and learned all sorts of new stuff. Painting backgrounds was so simple. And it has patterns to tailor to small projects or larger projects. Great book - I would highly recommend it.

I do prefer hand embroidery but this is my go to book if I want to spiff up a project with some ribbon embroidery.

I just love doing ribbonwork embroidery and this book is a great addition to my reference library, being full of great ideas and cleawr pictures of how to do the stitches.

This book definitely gave me a new perspective on embroidery. I was looking for something "new" after doing cross stich for my whole life and .... you can throw everything else out of your crafts room, put this book in the middle and start doing things from it, and your crafts room will be full.

I simply love this ribbon book and have so many ribbon ideas to create. This will definitely keep me busy.

Some interesting projects and techniques, but not as useful or well done as Fox's first book. If you've not learned ribbon embroidery before, I recommend the beginner's guide over this book. That being said, there is a lot of good information in this book for someone with experience.
