Q: What wax do you recommend for a guitar finished with this nitro clear?

I don’t normally use wax on this product, there’s really no need. If I were going to Birchwood Casey gunstock wax would be my choice.

Q: What is the recommended cure time before sanding (dry and wet)?

For guitars, I put at least 4 or 5 coats on. Wait a day, lightly 320 it and get rid of any peel. Then another 5 ot 6 coats and let it cure 2 to 3 weeks. Then wetsand and buff out. Start with 800 to 1000 gritt for wet sanding. This is for a guitar. Furniture similar but not nearly as much lacquer

Q: I had an electric guitar body just back from the shop with only one coat of clear. I'd like to have more protection, sand and buff. Will this work?

I wouldn’t use it. The Behlen (Mohawk) String Instrument Lacquer is a better choice
