Q: Do these wheels work in gravel areas? Also, can I add my own attachments for cups and snacks?

Mine works great on gravel surfaces. I have also added my own cup holders but you have to connect them in the right spot. The ones that just clip on is easier to put anywhere on it. I also use a clip on fan

Yes! I have 3.5 year old twins who are around 38 lb each. They fit great.

Q: Has anyone been able to fly with this? I'm assuming we'd have to check it as luggage? How is it in a sandy beach? Will have a 1.5yr old and an 8yr old

It is allowed through security since it is a push wagon with no pull option. You can gate check it.
