Sunbeam Dual Watt 3 Speed GreenSense Wall Mount Ionic Hair Dryer with Dimmable LED Night Light and Bracket, White and Silver

I've owned several of the more expensive wall mount dryers, but they've been adequate at best. The Sunbeam is a true example of superior industrial design. Every feature is well thought out and makes using the dryer easier and more functional. When you're done, just drop it in the holder ring and it shuts off at your optimal setting. Remove it, and it's ready to go. One of the problems with all hair dryers is the air intake screens eventually clog with lint. This product has a hinged cover making it easy to clean. Even the night light is better with a brightness adjustment. Kudos to whoever figured out how to make a much better mouse trap.

Note: My previous note and rating below was incorrect, I found the cut off switch inside the ring where the hair dryer sits was stuck and once I got it to release it worked fine. So I amended the rating now. Sorry. - Hair dryer part failed in less than a year. No visible lint in it and was not misused, so not sure why the hair dryer part failed. Night Light part is still working. Out of warranty so we're stuck.

First the not so good. The mounting hardware included is not up to par. I drilled the correct size hole for the wall anchors and had a trying time to find a screwdriver that would fit in the small slot of the screw. The screws do not have a Phillips drive head, eventually found a jewelers standard screwdriver that fit and completed the mounting. Took an hour to mount when it should have been 15-20 minutes. The next day the blower detached from the wall. The plastic wall anchors most everyone should be familiar with failed to expand. Replaced the screws and wall anchors with #6 sizes and remounted reusing the original holes I had drilled. Mounting is secure now, if it detaches again will change to 1/8 butterfly anchors.The good. Wife loves the automatic on feature and the adjustable night light. She likes having it out of the drawer and ready for use and not taking up drawer or counter space in our small bathroom. The heat and speed settings are good for her use. I will note that this is a two-speed dryer with three heat settings. So, when the high heat setting is selected there will not be an increase in fan speed from the medium setting. You will however notice a difference in heat. I am hoping we never have to make use of the two-year warranty. Wife is happy so I am happy, but Sunbeam should change the included hardware, otherwise a five-star rating.

I have had this blow dryer since 2017 and it is still working. Love it!

Easy to install, easy to set up and use. Works well. This dryer is easy on the hair. Does not feel overly hot or dry hair too quickly (thus does not leave hair overly-dry), even on high heat at the higher voltage setting. The night light is very bright, but the dimmer switch works well to tone down the brightness. The unit I received was packaged for hospitality (hotel) use, so the installation and operating instructions are brief and include few pictures. The seller's description should have mentioned this. Because the instructions do not indicate, I had to search the unit itself to find that the dual voltage switch is located beneath the same hinged back cover that houses a foam dust filter.

Pure junk! Do not buy! Lasted 3 months.

This is a great product. The night light is great. Most importantly;y, it saves me from plugging and unplugging tangled cords, etc., every morning.

I purchased this hairdryer and had it for one year and two weeks and it then started only blowing cold air. I contacted sunbeams manufacturer, which is not sunbeam, because the warranty said it was for two years yet if you read the fine print, it does not cover residential usage. So, no warranty. On the listing, it does say you can return it within 30 days. For the cost of this hairdryer, you would think that it would last longer than a year and we did not use it every day.
