marks, writes, slightly brittle. otherwise it's great and cheap

A great tire marking tool.
I needed a way to mark my snow tires upon removal so that they would be properly rotated, next season. For about a dollar a piece, it is a bargain, and a lifetime supply for me! They look like over-size crayons, but have a better chemical composition to write on tires, glass or body panels.

Pure trash
I bought two packs of these because I thought they would be similar to some that I got from a friends tire shop. These are very hard and barely leave a visible mark. The ones I got from the tire shop are much softer and leave an almost permanent mark.

They work on cold rubber. Didn't work on warm/hot rubber
