YUASA is the gold standard of motorcycle batteries. These are OEM for most major manufacturers. After 5 years, the one in my 2020 Indian was getting a bit weak on cold mornings so I replaced it with a bargain brand Lithium LiFePO4. Big mistake. It had more than enough Cranking Amps, but was lacking in Amp Hours. So I cut my losses and returned to a good old American made, traditional AGM like the manufacturer specified.This version comes with the electrolyte pack you add yourself. It is a small extra step that ensures you get the freshest battery possible. The process is very easy, but then you need a 2 amp AGM compatible charger to charge the battery.

This is the third battery from this brand I have owned. The first survived 10 motorcycle seasons, the second lasted 3 but that was my fault, I barely ran the bike 300 miles last year and I couldn't recover it one cell went dead.

The media could not be loaded. Great battery at a great price. Don't be scared off by filling the electrolyte yourself. It is very straight forward and easy to do (talk about a fresh battery!). Also pay no attention to the fitment guide here. I'm not sure the seller has is activated at all. Everything I put in says "Does Not Fit". Look up Yuasa directly and pull the fitment guide there. This battery Fit my 2008 Harley Davidson Softail FXCWC perfectly as indicated on the Yuasa website. Took an overnight trickle to get it fully charged.

Yuasa YTX20HL-BS Battery is USA built.The acid and filler container is made in Tiawan.This is the first battery I've purchased that didn't come with enough acid to cover the plates in the cells, leaving me with this dilemma: Do I trust the manufacturer and go with just the amount of acid that was included, or add just enough distilled water to cover the top edges of plates? I added distilled water. And charged the battery again. So far it's working great, and it should last longer with the correct amount of acid. It's dumb that Amazon expects me to rate "longevity" only a week into this, when a good battery should last at least 6 years in my '01 FXSTD.

Required charging - a given. Once charged, has held charge as expected. Bike starts easily with this battery.Great when a product works as designed. Will update later.

Have always had good results with Yuasa over the years...people say it is the "best" for bike batteries. Usually get 3-4 years from them. But this last one died hard just a few days ago after just two years TO THE DAY. And NO WARRANTY. I think their quality is slipping like everything else these days.
