Is this what it feels like to be a normal person with normal shoulders?
I am in love with this pillow. I read the other reviews and was skeptical that it would work for me, but after two weeks now, I live in fear that I will wake up and it won't work anymore because I'm relishing having almost NO shoulder or neck pain.Someone fell a few feet on my back and shoulders when I was in college, and while there wasn't really any damage then, I've found that sitting for really any length of time causes tension headaches as my shoulders firm up, which then triggers migraines. I also have TMJ, so my poor shoulders are never really happy, and God forbid I do OHP or shoulder press at the gym -- it takes me almost a week sometimes to get them to relax despite using a heating pad, tiger balm, having my husband massage them, etc. I'm only 26, so I was dreading spending the rest of my life with this pain, which wasn't always constant, but often grew as the day went on, and I was getting tension headaches almost daily. It finally got bad enough that I sought out physical therapy, which has helped a lot with my range of motion, and a little bit with the pain (my muscles still got a bit sore, but felt like muscle when touched, not knotted up rope). I gave this pillow a try, figuring that it couldn't hurt, and I'm addicted! Is this what normal people feel like? My spine still snaps, crackles, and pops like a glow stick when I roll my shoulders after sitting for a while, but the pain is basically NONEXISTENT (unless I'm a lazy bum and sit on the couch all day, which isn't really surprising). With my daily PT, and using a heating pad when I overdo it, this pillow feels like the piece I was missing, which makes sense when I realized that I was spending 8ish hours a night with my spine in weird positions, which definitely wasn't doing me any favors.I didn't have any issues adjusting like the product info warns, and my pillow also didn't have a smell. The only things I don't love about the pillow are that the shape makes it a bit difficult for my to snuggle up as close as normal with my husband at night, and the foam sometimes makes my ears go numb if I sleep on my side without moving. I also struggle when my body wants to lay on my stomach, but that isn't the fault of the pillow, since this one is specifically for back and side-sleepers (plus, laying on my stomach throws my spine out of whack, so I actually like that it is helping to train me to avoid that).Definitely give it a try, especially if you're still struggling after physical therapy or are experiencing a lot of tension headaches!BONUS: My tension headaches are almost totally gone after two weeks of use. I did still get a normal migraine, but I found that resting on this pillow when I had it seemed to help without the weird neck contortions I usually do when I have one and am on a normal pillow. I've only had one, though, so I can't say for certain that it helps, but it doesn't seem to hurt!

Best Money I've Ever Spent!
So ... back in June, I had started waking up in really bad pain every morning ... once I got moving, the pain subsided and by mid-day, I was fine ... since I felt better after a few hours, I knew it wasn't an injury - I realized it had to be the way I was sleeping ... I went online and started researching pillows and decided to go with this one after reading tons of reviews ... it was delivered on June 11 ... I've been using it every night since delivery ... the pain went away completely after about a week BUT I wasn't sure if it was actually the pillow or just the pain going away on its own so I was hesitant to write a review about it ... THEN two nights ago, I fell asleep and didn't use this pillow at all - I'd left it downstairs and was too tired to go get it so I used my regular pillows ... I woke up the next morning and couldn't BELIEVE had badly my neck was hurting again! I couldn't barely turn my head. I hadn't had this kind of pain since June. As usual, by mid-day the pain had subsided. I went back to this pillow the next night and woke up to ZERO pain!! This pillow works!!! In fact, I'm getting ready to go on vacation and I am so worried that the hotel pillows might give me neck pain that I'm seriously thinking about packing this pillow to take with me!! If you're having pain that stems from 'sleeping wrong', I'd definitely recommend this pillow.

Really supportive for you neck
I had started looking for a pillow that might better support my neck and relieve the effects of clenching my teeth in my sleep. I have come to realize that a pillow cannot help with my teeth clenching but this does really support my neck wonderfully. It especially works well for me on my side and I’m normally a side sleeper anyway. I recommend trying both the lower and taller side. I was convinced I was going to use the lower side and that’s where I started in the first week of having the pillow. It wasn’t feeling great so I switched to the taller side and it was perfect. I now travel with this pillow when I can because of how good it feels. This works for back sleeping too, I just think the taller side might be a little too tall for me when I’m on my back.

Didn't worked for me
After reading several reviews I decided in giving a chance to this pillow. But unfortunately was not for me.The pillow is well made. But the recommendations for a side sleeper like me didn't bring any comfort or neck pain relief.I like that the pillow is harder than others I tried before but it came with downfalls. The "horns" as I called them that will keep your head align are a P.I.T.A. for my side sleeping. I tried both ways as the instructions included with the pillow and the recommendations on how to use it. But didn't worked for me.After trying for few days (5 as recommended to get used to it) I found no relief or any comfort and decided to return the pillow to Amazon. (I used a double pillow case to keep the pillow clean by the way in case I need it to returned it.)I can see the pillow working good for those that are back sleepers. But I don't recommend it for those that are side sleepers or belly sleepers.
