I LOVE this stuff
I had both a pool and a shower with cracked tile, missing grout and serious leaks. I used it to seal every seam around every tile going around the top of the pool. Also to seal cracks in tiled shower floor.I applied with my bare hands (gloves are recommended) because I found it easier to apply. Others have mentioned how it gets slippery when wet. I used this to my advantage. It won't stick to wet fingers, so you can run your fingers over it very easily to apply pressure and smooth the result. I would lay down a bead log (formed by rolling the putty in your hands) and then run my fingers along the bead to press it into the crack. By adjusting the pressure and direction of push, I could shift the putty around to even the thickness and make it smooth. It was easy to get into a rhythm with minimal frustration. This in contrast to silicon-type sealants which stick like crazy to everything. For an amateur like me, the sticky stuff gets all over everything. It does require a touch to get the amount of pressure just right so that it sticks to tile. In the cracks is easy, but it will stick just fine to tile but you have to press firmly but not so firmly that it just smooshes the putty. The cure time is good. It's slower than the grey plumbers putty I use, but that's good. It comes in a measured 8 inch flat bar and I could work with 1/2" at a time. When I had to glom on a bunch where there was a large gap, I worked with 1" at a time, but with this much there is no dawdling.Working underwater is fine. You do have to put your attention into the epoxy mix. I got a little overconfident after a while and put less oomph into my mixing and produced one batch that looked right, but it cured very, very slowly. When mixed well, it's hard after an hour and after a few hours it's like rock. My poorly mixed batch was still scratch-able after 6 hours, but eventually hardened.

Good under water pool patch
I used it to patch a small area under the water on my gunite pool . Easy to use and it is still there after many months . So far , so good .

Strong and effective!
This putty works very well. It is hard, moldable when being applied, etc. I used it to caulk our tub due to regular caulk not working properly because of standing water around the edges (the tub was very unlevel on the edges). I needed something to level off the edges of the tub and shed water better, and this absolutely fit the bill. It tacked well to the tub, molded well (is hard to mix but that’s not a big deal to me), and even provided a smooth finish when wet fingers were rubbed across it. It has held well up until now!

I USED THIS BEFORE, STILL GREAT.
I had to close off some voids in my metal basement doors

Finally an epoxy that works as advertised!
Following a California earthquake, my sons in-ground pool developed (2) 8’ cracks on the bottom. The pool started loosing 1 inch of water per day. By the time I flew out there, the water was down 44 inches. Using wetsuits, we applied this product - 4 inch strips at a time to the cracks - it’s been 11 months now and the pool hasn’t lost any water since the repair. We know this is only a temporary fix, however, this product is so simple to use and can be applied under water. Absolutely phenomenal in an emergency.UPDATE: It’s now 04-23-2024 … 5 years+ after the earthquake that cracked my son’s in-ground pool. The single application of A+B epoxy at that time - STILL WORKING STRONG WITHOUT ANY SIGN TO THE CONTRARY!!!Truly amazing product that saved us a quoted $17k to ‘professionally’ fix the pool.

Good product
Very affordable. Worked great. Very hard to mix together. I found taking a chunk of each side about two inches long and rolling it in my hands to make skinny strings of it that you fold back over and repeat many times was the easiest way to blend it. Wish I discovered that at the beginning of the project instead of the end

Love this stuff for fixing broken ceramics
Got it to fix a pottery rhinoceros that three of the legs had broken. It takes a little kneading to mix, but is easy to mold and took paint well. It dries off white.Filled in quarter sized holes in legs, reinforced narrow areas, and filled in openings on back of rhinoceros. Painted next day.Have used it to build up under mosaic tiles, and create 3-D features on wood and metal.

Works great
As a pool contractor I’ve used this for years. Take your time thoroughly mix the two parts and it never fails… usually end up having more than you need.
