Great alternative to an original K98 bayonet
Solid fit on one of my Yugo K98s, my Yugo 24/47, and both of my Yugo M48s. Very loose fit on my other Yugo M98/48, though not so loose that I am worried about it coming off during any zombie stabbing that may arise. Nice deep blue finish on all metal surfaces. Loose fit in sheath, rattles. Blade is scratched every time it is removed from the sheath, so finish on blade will degrade with use. Nice, solid bayonet, though a reproduction, very serviceable for its original purpose. Free shipping makes it the best deal on this bayonet, that I have found. Atlanta Cutlery sells what seems to be the same bayonet, at about the same price, but charges for shipping. Happy camper, who does not want to spend money on the real thing.

To be quite honest I haven't stabbed anyone with it, but this seems legit
This bayonet came to me unsharpened and heavily blued. The blueing is cheap and not necessarily historical, but effective. The lack of sharpness is correctable via home tools and skills. Most importantly (for a reproduction bayonet), this item will mount on my original 1936 Mauser rifle's bayonet lug! (It will not mount over my reproduction cleaning rod, which it "should" (Mauser bayonets are meant to fit over cleaning rods), but I cannot, as an amateur, properly assign that defect to either the rod or the bayonet.) Would, if in the same position, buy again!

Looks pretty. Doesn't fit.
The knife slides in about 1/4 of the way onto the bayonet lug on my Kar98k and goes no further. Even after several hours for filing the grooves and chamfering the edges, it only goes 1/3 of the way, and then gets stuck. The finish on the blade is beautiful - a little too much so, considering the fact that the rifle it's intended to go on will probably not be in mint condition.Probably a quality control issue.

this bayonet is nice and solid
I got this bayonet because I was absolutely sick of cleaning cosmoline from my rifle. I chose this bayonet because I am familiar with Museum Replicas swords. Without the cleaning rod, this bayonet does have some flop to it, but I've encountered issue bayonets from other rifles that also have some flop. With the rod, this bayonet is nice and solid. Museum Replicas likes to ship their blades dull so that was expected. I was able to put a decent edge on it after some work with a file and a water stone. Still gotta work on it for a proper edge, but this IS a bayonet and intended a bit more for stabbing things than cutting. Right now it is 'sword sharp.' My issue is with the scabbard. Museum Replicas has a tendency to have loose scabbards and this bayonet is no different. There is an internal spring that provides tension which is removable and it is possible to squeeze it together to make the fit tighter. While doing so to make it very secure, the metal on one of the prongs cracked. It is still functional, but I can's make it secure any tighter. Not bad, but it still has a little bit of a rattle and it can fall out if shaken. I may get an issue bayonet one day to see how a Mauser bayonet and scabbard fits properly, but this one does do the job adequately. I am unfamiliar with Mauser bayonets so for all I know, this could be a perfect example. Only time will tell as well as my willingness to clean more cosmoline.

Its nice, I recommend it.
Fits both M48 and K98 with cleaning rods but the bayonet channel isn't long enough by a fraction of an inch. Will not click in. If I file it a bit, it will work. The quality, fit, finish and wood is really nice. I like it more than the beat up authentic ones.

Good Quality
This product had an excellent look and feel to it. It will need some modifications to the rifle’s cleaning rod to fit all together but went on the rifle just fine. Good buy for the money.

I was disappointed that numbers on knife and scabbard did not match ...
It is OK for the K98 - not a fit for 1908BR or 1924 Yugo, the bayonet fitting is different. I was disappointed that numbers on knife and scabbard did not match - not a big deal but being a "new reproduction" item this little detail was neglected.

Ehhh
Bayonet took minor adjustment to fit to rifle with cleaning rod attached, no big deal. However, the fit overall is loose. Also, point was pokey, but no edge at all on blade. It is a bayonet, yes, so it doesn’t/shouldn’t have a razor sharp edge...and it’s a replica...but come on.Lastly, the scabbard came with the clip broken. Bayonet and all, slides right out of the frog.Spend a little more to get better quality.
